Up to now thought this company was well run. Coming begging so quickly after the last fund raise in my view shows appalling planning. Will not be taking part and likely to sell rest of holding….. when and if share price recovers . Turning opportunities into contracts in the mid and far east is difficult . The CEO has over egged the opportunity pot in my book

Hi river boy, bottom line is supply and demand . Basic economics. If latter greater than former price goes up . Lot of publicity about routes but looked at where are vessels are today and we are not impacted . Also charter rates stabilised but no dramatic moves . V v frustrating

Buys far out way sells yet price drops . But my usa ahares had a great day . I am so steadily falling out with the London market !

Hi , think Mike is right. Very much down to approach of Chinese New year and seasonal slowdown. It was referred to in the last company release as they were planning to 'lock in' as many vessels as possible in anticipation of this. I also remain firmly of the view that this is by far the best board on here. One company I hold has degenerated appallingly such that I no longer bother with it. Long may this board continue in such a friendly and constructive manner where we can all hopefully learn from one another. Happy Christmas to all .

Hi Mike , last night in South Africa so a little boozy ! Superb summary , I envy your financial analysis skills . This will come stood for those who take the long term view . Unfortunately what has contributed to crippling the UK is the constant short term view . In the meantime enjoy and reinvest the dividend

Important to mention US 119m of that was due to reduction in vessel values . But continued rise in charter rates would be excellent news !

The share is ex dividend . Do we get the dividend based on our previous shareholding or the new ? I have gone from 9000 shares to 450 . Would in theory mean div circa £300 reduced to £15 !

Is it only me or does it seem that the huge cobalt investment was not such a good move given the way prices have gone ? Sam

Morning river boy . Yes so am I . I am finding it more difficult to log on this page as a result . I am also annoyed re Hargreaves landsdown. My div was paid nov 24 but they only reinvest from the11th of each month ie dec 11 in this case . They in fact say between the 11 and 21 st which allows anything to happen on the markets. Before that period . I moved from interactive investor as could only hold the company shares in dollars there for some unknown reason .i am going to follow this up with the company . I am also starting to look at alternatives for my isa where they reinvest more quickly . Any suggestions more than welcome.

Pleased with this . Loads of companies are doing the same so a very sensible move . Debt at time of acquisition was plus 40 percent so to get to 26 in a year with charter rates on the floor is very pleasing . Re the latter though delighted to note strengthened further on Monday so the money should be starting to flow in nicely . At some state the markets may begin to realise this and we see a share price recovery .

Hi Mike. Yes agree all you said . I personally think the dividend is more than safe . Only got the last one a few days ago . Will be in London I think .
