PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
Having bought in at mid 80's last October, and seen the SP hover between 136 and 142 for the last 6 weeks without any direction I made the decision to sell out this week, taking a 70% profit, but not reaching my target of £2. This is basically because the funds tied up here can be made better use of in either of several other stocks I have that I anticipate strong upward movement in the very near future. Have noticed today that, after being at 140 early on, the RNS indicating Invesco selling 45% of its TPT holding, reducing from 17.7 million shares to 9.5 million, the share has dropped to the mid 134's. Either Invesco are concerned at the lack of any movement since mid January, or they are balancing their investments. ATB to all TPT holders in here still. Salsa
Hi rusty. I do agree with you re movement (or lack of it) atm. I bought in last week expecting very little to happen this month and probably next month as well, but I do believe it will pick up in March. With the World Cup in June hopefully boosting sales of TV's etc during the summer, I am quite happy to sit back and relax on this one. As you say, virtually all trades are autos. Only ones making any money atm out of DXNS are the mms and the brokers. This, for me, is one to buy and leave alone and look again later down the year, certainly not a stock to get excited about daily. ATB
Hi rusty! I am fine thanks. Been looking at DXNS for a while and almost bgt in earlier in the week but decided to wait until after the rns. All looked ok but have seen 2 of my stocks drop after good rns's in the last couple months so figured this might happen here. (Both stocks recovered within 4 weeks I may add). So now, with 5 very good brokers giving ratings of between 60 - 62p, seems like an opportune time to get in. I will probably put this in my 6 - 12 month hold category so will look for around 20% mark up on here, possibly more. Are you in here already? ATB Salsa
Good morning. Yes I have high hopes for this for the next 6 months. Have noticed that each day the SP rises a good amount in the am before dropping back again and then finishing the day slightly up...ie Friday yesterday and this am all got to 147+ before dropping back down to its opening price and then finishing the day up...well, at least I hope that is what will happen today lol! Not sure if this is on anyone else's radar yet though. ATB
Okay. I just believe that when somebody is offering proven facts re a share and by using that info to supplement my existing belief in a share, I benefit, then it is the least I can do to show my appreciation by way of helping you in your good cause charity. As stated before, I would have probably sold out of here, TPT, were it not for your reinforcing my faith in the share.and as a result of that I have gained by over 50% in just over 4 months. Keep me informed of your next venture. ATVB Salsa
Before I forget, are you going to push yourself and do anything else charitywise this year? Reason I ask is I tried to show my appreciation of how I have benefitted from your thoughts this past few months by sending a nice donation but on your site the panel says no more donations can be accepted as the fund is now closed. If you are thinking of doing something again please do let me know. Kind regards Salsa
I agree with the sentiment of more to come. And many thanks for some excellent advice yet again. Since our days of debate mid last year on TCG I have come to respect your views and tips as extremely good and have advised others on these boards to have a look at some of your tips, but sadly most falls on deaf ears. My bank balance shows that you certainly know what you are talking about. ATB Salsa
on here. Bgt into this when it was still a 'boring' share at 0.94 in September. Immediate drop to low 80's before regaining back into low 90's. Only MrBluesky kept me in here with his enthusiasm and in last week November we had a 28% increase up to the mid 120's. Nice to see the rise again now after a good rns, but can't help wondering if any retrace again to spoil things. Housing positives should keep the SP moving upwards until at least June, I believe but after that is anyone's guess. Anyhow, one to sit back for me and leave until summer. ATB to all in here plus the TCGers!!!!
but this share has been on my watch for quite some time and while I have not bought in before it DOES seem to be attracting a whole lot of attention so on Monday I will be buying an initial £3k worth. Well done to all who have been in long term and made plenty so far...........just hope there is more in the tank.........
Well I have never found trading how I do a problem, and I cannot see how there are any tax benefits to spread betting as all my trades are done through my ISAs. Apart from that I have no interest in spread betting. Perhaps you could explain the benefits to me......
Hi rusty. Understand what you are saying about trading FGP. I have a separate pot for trading to funds I use to buy in longer term. I don't really worry about getting the bottom or reaching the top as to me a profit is a profit, but I do take your point that the movement on FGP is small and therefore a decent amount is needed to trade to indeed make it worthwhile. Best advice I could give, and which I will use for my own strategy with FGP is to wait for it to come down around 113/114 and then buy in and when /if it gets to 119ish I would sell. And then wait for the pattern to repeat itself. A trade of 30k shares at 114 buying in and then selling at 118 will give a profit of just over £1200 after costs so this is acceptable, but not as good a profit as I would ideally be looking for. If it can be repeated every 5/6 weeks though it does mount up considerably. Anyhow have a great Xmas and lets hope we all have a great start to 2014. ATB Salsa
Lol.....hi my friend! Yes, I understand where you are coming from re your 'cheerful' friend over on TCG! I have had my eyes on FGP with regard to trading for a while now as that pattern has emerged and seems to be set now so I do think it is a viable opportunity, yes. Of course, if you use a separate pot to trade with then for you and rusty there is relatively no risk as you already are holding the share. I will certainly take a look once Xmas is out the way if it comes down again circa 114ish. My problem here is that I cannot always get online due to commitments here and High season is upon us so I am going to be very busy. OK if holding long term but trading can be difficult as I need to be at the pc all day/couple days to be able to trade properly. Basically it was that reason above all else that messed me up with TCG results day as I was not certain how the results would be and I knew I couldn't be at the pc anytime during that day so I couldn't risk it and buy in the day before. Never mind. I hope you and your family are all set for Xmas and have a great time, by the way! ATB Salsa
Good morning rusty. Just a little thought. I have noticed that 3 or 4 times recently, each time FGP drops down to circa 114/5 it invariably comes back up to circa 119/120 within a few days. Makes for quite a decent trading opportunity I would think. In fact next time it comes down to 114ish I think I may be tempted, depending on the spread. I believe you hold some stock here, and, as you told me the other day you almost came to grief with a day trade on another stock, perhaps it would be good for you to consider trading FGP as I have outlined AS WELL as maintaining your core holding in it. Hope all is well with you for Xmas. ATB Salsa
