Many thanks Barry. You are a gem of a friend to help me with this sort of information. The ex divs website is really good and will help a lot. I decided to steer well clear of AIMS altogether and just go with a handful of shares that you have recommended. I will go back trading tcg when I feel the prices are right again but as for holding the shares....no way....too much risk up and down and I dont want that stress! Like BPTY, especially the no stamp duty! Missed out on some good trading profits yesterday with HOME due to HL website going down from 8.30 to 11am, all set to mop up a nice £500 and couldnt get in, neither could Craig, as HL internet problems! I will be on Home most now posting as tcg are just too childish and petty imo. Will keep in touch. Have a great w/end.
Okay will check it out. I traded BPTY earlier, with no S/D just my 5.95 brokers fee. In at 138.05, 1 hr later out at 140.30, great trade! Nice to buy at 138.05 and including brokers fee average is 138.16, instead of having to allow the usual 1p on the share price. Try it out!
HL back up and running ok now. Keep fingers crossed for 149 again today,,lol! Craig keep your eyes on BPTY as well. Seems a good share for quick buying in and out. No stamp duty either, just brokers fee. Do a trial buy/sell scenario and see what I mean.GL
Can't believe it! I planned to sell home if it got to around 191 and then buy in again on the inevitable drop. Then found I couldnt get onto my buy/sell page with hargreaves lansdown for 40 minutes due to an internet fault at their hq. Now I am back in and sp has come down to 146. AAAGGGHHH
