People seem to be overlooking Morocco. The trials there and commercial discussions should be done by year end and assuming agreement, commercial income in Q1/2 2023.
If we are commercial then, I’m certain the SP will be a good bit higher than todays value, so right away the scope to raise funds is much better than it looks just now. It has to happen obviously, but if they can’t sell msar to Morocco then we don’t deserve to be in business at all.

Add in MSC agreement for LONO and maybe something in the americas…

There’s always risk till a contract is signed, that’s why it’s 1.7p to buy (or thereabouts).

Parts and equipment are funded by MSC who are assisting/negotiating their acquisition. It’s a joint effort and a reasonable indicator of their good faith and intentions imo.

Ruling elites don’t give a crap what’s good for the majority/country, it’s why they’re the elites. They use their positions to preserve their status, wealth and that of their supporters and are generally a minority group.

Same principle is true within Western democracies, they just go about it differently and are limited to some degree in how far and fast they can go, but the outcome is the same. Elites remain in power to be replaced by the next generation/off spring of the previous. There is no utopia and never can be, humans are inherently flawed. Western democracy is probably the best of the bunch given what systems of governance are out there.

Yes, wasn’t talking about daily incremental steps in share price, more company incremental progress which would then lead to higher market confidence.

It’s about QFI delivering commercial income at the end of the day, that’s what will change all of our fortunes. There’s a real chance of it happening in the coming period, something we haven’t been able to say in a very long time, certainly since KSA where we came very close.

This announcement is a solid step forward but not the end prize. We should know if we have that around the year end.

It will take several incremental steps forward for QFI to re-engage fully with positive market sentiment, ie belief they will achieve what they say they will.

I’m pleased for Jason and the team they’ve been able to announce this news. Yes they’re paid to make it happen but progress should be recognised and acknowledged which I’m sure most holders do.

Excellent update today. A commercial Morocco project makes our lives so much easier. Cash generative, most of our running costs covered while the team focus on the other prizes.

The value of a deal is not the defining feature of complexity, that much should be obvious. It took Maersk forever to sign the previous LONO trial and that was after years of testing and a completed PoC trial. It took a very long time to get it over the line.

BioMSAR trials are another level of complexity due to sourcing commercial fuel grade glycerine, the OEM being satisfied, insurers, lawyers and probably a host of others want their say.

I’m confident most of the donkey work is done, so we should hear from them soon but by end of month hopefully.

It’s worth remembering that MSC senior management have agreed to help negotiate and to purchase the new fuel booster system for the LONO ahead of any formal signed contract. The exp naive fuel system may well be purchased before these contracts are signed.
Tells me we are well past the will they or won't they do a trial, but in the midst of the end game before announcing.

So Jason is simply a liar, that’s the essence of your post.

Is it really? QFI announced April as a possibility for a deal and then hoped for May etc. You don’t do that unless the bones of an agreement have been worked out. We don’t get “evidence” supplied to us so we must find it where we can.

Using common sense, it seems to me Jason felt confident/hopeful in April as they’d reached a basic agreement but it also has to go through the lawyers.

From that point onwards, estimates of timelines are best guesses as they rely on others, their workload and corporate priorities. Also any issues flagged up by lawyers need to be addressed.

Remember it’s not an MSAR trial but BioMSAR, a fuel that didn’t exist a year ago and completely untested on large engines. So not at all like Maersk really.

In short, if they were still trying to convince MSC to do a trial in April, then it would have been utterly impossible to have agreements signed then or in May. This is big league stuff, not a two page contract fuel supply deal.

QFI have been a disaster with timelines that’s true, but what’s the alternative, say nothing?
You HF, and many others would be demanding an estimated time when developments might be expected.

If the MSC project is currently in the hands of lawyers, and from what info is available it would seem likely to be so, then the completion date for signing is entirely out with QFI control.
You can’t force a client to sign on your timelines, they do it when their lawyers tell them it’s ok to do it or not at all.

Jason clearly expected things to move quicker than they have, but the important point is that they’re moving and we’ve heard nothing to suggest otherwise.
Sadly it’s about waiting, something holders know too well, but unavoidable.
