Could have been to do with this? http://www.nebusiness.co.uk/business-news/latest-business-news/journal-business-news/2008/05/09/results-push-up-sage-shares-51140-20883977/ Gedw i'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this these days.....It seems a long way of the highs of £4 plus. Its amazing that shares can be given such high valuations when they still have so much work to do!

Seems theres been some major talk on this thread again.......... I was beginning to lose my marbles here on my lonesome.
Yes very glad.....One thing I always do right. Goodluck with Vanco. Im staying clear for now. Got to go out again now, way past my lunch break.
Not too bad mate, been pretty busy though with one thing or another. Hows it all going?
This is all big change of direction for d1. I guess they had no choice.
Hope all is well with you, long time no see. Grand national this weekend. Luv sticking a bet on that! Any suggestions Ha.....thinking MCKELVEY or KING JOHNS CASTLE for good odds at present.....Never won anything so could be my year.
Buyout rumour http://uk.reuters.com/article/oilRpt/idUKL1185636320080311
Karl Watkin resigning is another bad sign. What is going on in D1. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/markets/article3508498.ece
Can someone remind me on any dates given for the outstanding share issue, i.e court dates etc. Any ideas as to whether this could fall much further. 70p seems to hold pretty well, surely there cash balance and recent results should at least provide the support until any resolve.
http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/markets/2008/03/more_bad_news_for_listed.html With margins down and looking to cut costs, D1 is looking a slight unhealthy at the moment. I wish the b99 issue would get resolved, cutting some 35 jobs is not a great start for a business which should be going forwards. Steady enougth im sure BP will have had a good look into the business and not have invested if this wasnt to play a part in future energy. No doubt this could be seen a a great buying opportunity for the long term. I just wish our goverment would see it that way. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/mar/07/greenbusiness.biofuels Gedw any thoughts?
I think lack of any news on that front has hit them. The market was probably hoping for more of an update. That and the cut in dividend, and "worries of stretching working capital" to maintain its massive growth plans.
We expect the determination of the ownership claim for Madam Nina Wang's estate, and therefore the RCG shares held by Veron International Limited, to be a lengthy process before a final resolution is made. As previously announced, Madam Wang was not involved in the Board or management of RCG at any time in the past.
RCG Holdings Limited ("RCG" or "the Group") Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2007 RCG Holdings Limited (AIM:RCG), a leading global provider of integrated biometrics and RFID security solutions, today announces its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2007. Financial Highlights - Revenues increased by 50% to £92.4 million (FY 2006: £61.8 million) - Profit before tax increased by 49% to £29.3 million (FY 2006: £19.6 million) - Basic EPS increased by 18% to 13p per share (FY 2006: 11p per share) - Cash generated from operations totaled £10.9 million (FY 2006: £1.1 million) - Recommended a final dividend of 0.5p per ordinary share
Losses not as bad as i thought, still a lot of work to be done though. I think some people would be happy with 16p a share.
Yo that would be cool bud. I'm not in van at the mo. Stopped lost out, with not too much damage. Looking to re-enter though, but worried they may get another hammering this week. Got to go work now. Easyo.
