Had confirmation from the company today that there were 26 license applications in total and 20 were awarded. However we are awaiting further information on the second license application as it is being considered and still has a pending status. Maybe just maybe....

Maybe FG needs to consider seeking legal advice regarding the misrepresentations.

The RNS dated 10 February 2020 clearly shows Legal representatives of all parties involved in the claim appeared in Court, including the legal representatives of two insurance companies, (among the largest operating in Europe) which have provided professional indemnity cover to the majority of the eight defendants. The insurance documents seen by the Directors indicate that, for this specific case, the professional insurance cover is €1,000,000 per year, per insurance company. Therefore, €2,000,000 per year of cover has been provided. The alleged misconduct described in the claim took place over a number of years.

There is Indemnity cover in place and the independent expert has valued the claim at 7.8 million.

We are now following the courts timetable.

We do have a wonderful opportunity here, with the bitcoin mining conditions becoming favorable for miners.

Bitcoin mining companies in China are giving away their mining equipment, hopefully our "expert" can also see the opportunity.

Surely someone at QBT can see the massive opportunity here, Chinese bit coin miners coming off line and the hash rate reducing by up to 20% there is an opportunity here to mine bitcoin a lot easier than previously. We do not need any optimisation or bitcoin mining expert to tell us this!
Further there is also a spike in used mining equipment for sale in china as these are no longer required and is heavily discounted in price.
Getting an expert to analyse and over analyse something, surely there is no need to reinvent the wheel.

In terms of the company we do know the following:
1) the company already has a mining data centre which they own 100%.
2) £1.68 million has been raised by way of placing in February to invest in crypto investment strategies.
3) The Claim has been valued by the independent expert at 7.8million, valuing the claim at 7.8million instead of 10.8 million means we save £900k as 30% of any money recovered has to be paid out
4) The expert could have easily said there was no merit to the claim and the valuation could have been zero.
5) Litigation is always a complex process and there are many twists and turns in the process. Unfortunately defendants do some times die during the course of proceedings and the courts have ways to deal with this.
6) The hearing on the 26 May was only for the expert to report back, this was not meant to be the final hearing. The process in Italy before the final hearing is the parties file conclusive briefs and the Judge makes a decision on the claim which takes 2-3 months.
7) the only real delay is the death of one of the defendants and the defendants have to be re notified and the heirs also become defendants.
8) Further a crypto expert has been hired by the company and has options at 5p.
9) The company could have easily recommissioned the existing data centre, but are waiting until they have found the best ways to mine bitcoin in terms of optimisation using less energy which of course is good for the environment.
