Kumala, kingsteve
Data protection is preventing shareholders from getting access to the shareholder register. There are in excess of 20,000 private shareholders and on a good day there are 20 people posting on this board.
Any investigative journalist on this board??? We need to get the PI’s on board
Kingsteve, everybody’s on the same page, but how do we do it. The only way is to PM everybody that’s wants a SH group. There are regular investment group meetings in London but that would be unfair to any SH that lives more than a hours commute to London
Hk85
I fully understand the RNS
If there is a recapitalisation, all shares in the same class have to be offered the same terms. It just that fool PF who uses his words carefully, because he thinks he’s smart
HK85, exactly what I said a few days ago. Hopefully in the dilution we will be left with a seed. We may well have to wait 10 years + to get our loses back, but at least we don’t lose.
Hk85, thank you for taking us back to our history books. I was not a shareholder then, but accepting that you are right, it is certainly worrying . On your point of admin, I hope it is avoided, because then we are all at ground zero.
Souter, absolutely agree!!
No, but I for one would like to be part of one if I could find one. Private shareholders held 20 % of the company stock prior to the collapse on the 12th July. At an average of 15000 shares per holder, that’s 18666 shareholders, a big voice collectively. I put a call into the Daily Mail on Thursday regarding their article and the quote by Cliff Weight a director of the Share Soc, that the comments by the BOD were misleading shareholders
Amers, these are uncharted waters. I, like you and a lot of others are sitting on 90% losses at the moment. We could sell now and walk away with 10% as some posters are suggesting. But I think Fosun has a need for the brand and will make it successful. I don’t think it will be prepacked. I am staying in and if we come out with something, I believe it will grow, although it will take a long time. I received a PM last night from one shareholder that’s sitting on 200000 shares and down 75k and their staying in??
Miriva, I feel the point has been missed by a number of posters on this board. Investment decisions were made on the strength of the RNS.
The BOD clearly stated numerous bids under consideration. Did they say numerous bids that fall below our minimum, no. Had they done so many of us would have sold. Did they say the banks had put a min figure to accept the 300m, again no. The question is who would have lost more if the BOD had been truthful. The truth will out on this one, because there are many people like you who have lost large amounts of money, from Pensions, SIPS and ISA’s
Interesting the 300m from the bank to cover the winter period only had a caveat that the company had to have been in advanced stages or have sold the airline to get the funds. They did not put a minimum market value on the deal. The BOD need to disclose the bids as negotiations have ended??
:-)
Scooby, their have been angry PI’s outside their Peterborough HQ on Monday and Tuesday waiting for PF and other BOD. No show or back door? So if a BOD meeting took place, it was not in Peterborough
Mrmag I can not see the earlier post so if I’m about to do you an injustice, I am sorry. If however you are saying that Directors never go on record as to where their company share price will go, I’m afraid you are wrong. Just wind to the Abbott and Costello show on Friday, where PF clearly prompted the CFO to express a view on where the share price would go, and the response was single figures!!
I hope some US and Major U.K. law firms take instruction from clients to challenge the multiple breaches of fiscal duty of care that these two morons have breached in the last 3 months
Gareth, their response tells us nothing. They said on Friday that they were giving Fosun a significant minority holding in the Airline and the rest to the banks and bond holders. It is not theirs to give without considering other shareholders. I strongly feel the BOD are in a spot of bother here. I have unconfirmed reports that there are angry shareholders outside TC HQ at Peterborough!
Hopefully there will be some momentum tomorrow from Major holders asking for some disclosure on the airline bidding process and when was the video recorder and where?
