With low volume difficult to say. It appears that there may be a base of 350p forming but the low volume makes predictions difficult and risky. IMHO a rise to 365p or thereabouts could provide confirmation of a trend reversal. The company's growth potential is of course fundamental to whether or not to buy and timing can never be precise.

Those shares will be owned by someone else and I have not being able to find out who SMA's shareholders are, other than that at 31 December 2016 per the annual accounts, the directors (including one former director) owned 28.55% of the issued share capital. On 4 July, the company resolved to allot shares, or grant rights to subscribe for or to convert any security into shares in the company of up to an aggregate nominal amount of £3m. If the rise can be sustained, there appears to be a breakout from the downtrend since early January. Next results announcement probably September based on last year's.

Superdrug, through whom SkinnyTan is sold, increased its pre-tax profits in 2016 by 41pc to £80.4m, helped by a 60pc surge in online sales. Turnover was up by 10.4%, significantly stronger than its retail rivals. The company now controls 30pc of the beauty market after growing cosmetic sales by 14pc in 2016. The company who own Superdrug also recently announced that they will be opening 30 new stores. I wonder to what extent, IDP rely on Superdrug for instore and online sales, as opposed to their Direct to Consumer channels. Naturally does no harm at all to be using all possible routes to market, although their own DTC channels no doubt give higher profit margins. Will StevieK cosmetics and Charles + Lee products be sold through Superdrug as well as through ASOS and their own DTC channels, with Superdrug controlling 30% of the beauty market? On the other hand Boots UK reported a decline in like for like sales of 0.8 per cent in 2016.

I note that RSI is at 38.11 and only just above RSI bottoms on 18 May and 15 June. Also, 100DMA is at 361. So from a TA point of view, we could be near the low point and due for a reversal.

Very good. Thanks for posting that. Haris and his team know how to use the media, that's for sure. Hopefully, it will help to bring in the buyers again. Shame about the SP dropping below its 385p support line, but I suppose investors were going to take profits after such a good run and a break in news from the company. Hopefully, the SP will consolidate in the 360p - 415p range before the company announce its next update. Like you, I'm not particularly concerned about the drop as the potential here is massive.
