RE: Don't understand13 Sep 2017 22:39
My view on the last two days is that initially, after an immediate rise on the market opening, pis sold on the basis that there was no surprise in the results RNS; it was time to take profits and sell. Then as the fall developed during Tuesday, many pis panicked and sold as they saw the SP falling and eating into any profits they had. Many more pis panicked today as they saw the initial drop in the SP after opening.
Yes, there will have been some with an average below 300p, but others who had bought more recently certainly didn't.
The SP eventually rebounded as many saw a really good opportunity to buy at a very good price.
I know I'm stating what most of those who have been invested for a time will realise!
Where from here? Well, IMHO we will see a continued rise from the low, but as usual punctuated by consolidation along the way. HC does like to update the market quite regularly and I expect on the next announcement of ST sales figures, the SP will certainly be firmer and respond positively.
Well, we shall see. GLA.
