I forgot to add...
As we come out of lockdown I think that people will be looking for "fun." I am looking for shares that deal with fun and treats which I think will do well. ESC (escape rooms) fits this bill, have done well and fit this bill but what could be more fun than cream cakes?
I'm another one late to this party. Have been watching this share for several months now but only bought last week. Mind you, I am already showing a healthy profit despite that horrible spread (one of the reasons why I didn't invest before).
I have been trying to top up all day but it is consistently n/t with HL. Must be a good sign.
I hope that Zwartkorps is correct.... but I would be deliriously pleased if he has overshot the SP by 90%!!
MYX got exposure yesterday on the sharepickers webinar. Sounds very interesting.
The Fool thinks that 120p is right. If you use a profit figure 3 times the size of the profit used by the Fool it is logical to expect a share price 3 times the current level. Ie c 350p.
It depends on a realistic level of profit -hence my question asking what is realistic.

I am slightly surprised by the Fool's conclusion. Its judgement is based on a net profit of £51 m for this year. I have seen other estimates of profit of £140m. Which would be more realistic?
I fully understand the differences between net profit , operating profit and EBITDA. I do not think that I am comparing apples with pears. Is £51 m a realistic assumption of profitability for this year and if not what would be?
Last year operating profit was £41m so the Fool's estimate may be closer to the mark. Would £140 million be more likely to be a forecast profit?
Why this weakness in thr sharr price - particularly today with a dip in the share price below 60p? APT have been under a cloud lately but went up this morning.
What size is the value gap now? Is this a buying opportunity?
I think you are right starknight. The value in this share comes in the IP. Clearly contact has been made with people who can develop the product commercially. 6 months to manufacture from deal date gets mentioned but that doesn't concern our share price. By then we will have sold the IP and will be counting our profit.
What is used in India atm for testing? Is it correct to think dodgy ,counterfeit LFT's or is this just the view of an old prejudiced Brit like myself?
The potential for a professional , well regulated PCR test like ours must be enormous. Happy days.
I am convinced that Danaher will one day take us out. Not only is it their style but we would fit into their prifile beautifully. They make our covid product and they sell it so buying us to ensure future development would complete the picture. Things like AIHL would be additional benefits for them..
I guess the only questions are when and how much.
Why are they back on the acquisition trail?
I don't doubt that we are in their sights and l would not be surprised if we get bought by Christmas. What have you seen that makes you think that they are buying again?
Read the RNS from ODX. It is not as great as people initially thought. I wouldn't be surprised to see them fall today.
The ODX BB is full of unhappy bunnies atm.
The accountant in me is always concerned that everything should balance. If Afterpay accounts are showing that the TSL holding is worth $64m then TSL should show a corresponding increase in their accounts.
$64m = ,£45 mi
There are 107 m TSL shares.
£45 million divided by 107 million shares = 42 p per share.
Therefore I am anticipating a 42p incrrase in TSL share price on our results day.
Not sur if it will happen though :-)
Inagine you are a huge pharma company and an area of your business is growing fast and has great prospects. You have become big by acquisitions. In the last couple of years you have acquired the manufacturing company that makes the Covid tests. You have just signed a partnership deal with a tiddler who has designed the product that you are manufacturing, distributing and selling. Doesn't an acquisition of the tiddler make sense to ensure the whole operation is controlled by yourself?
I don't smoke but lets get a fag packet out.
So 913k tests shipped.
What is the profit on each test -£6 ??? (Profit not revenue).
Lets call it £5.5 million profit on whst has been shipped.
Big question now - how frequent will shipments like this be made -daily, weekly, monthly, annually?
Lets say monthly ( probably conservative but this is a fag packet after all).
12 x £5.5million = £66 million profit.
At a conservative PE of x4 that makes a market cap of £264 million and a share price c. £4.50.
At a share price of £4.50 BC would have to offer at the very least £6 in their (my mind inevitable) takeover approach.
??????
Luvly jubbly - what can go wrong ???
I first noticed this share when it made its dividend / capital payment a few months ago. I have since built quite a big holding not believing the value gap can exist for much longer.
Is it fair to assume that there will be no dividend payments when results are announced early next month? I can see the results being buoyed by the recent valuation of APT but unless I am mistaken there has been no cash benefit to the company. Am I mistaken?
ST is a good poster He makes a lot of sense in what he says and I enjoy his posts.
I understand a lot of what Croqman is saying. Like him I cannot stand those posts which make wild predictions without any backing. I feel that I might as well ask my dog for a share price prediction.
From what I have read ST has often backed up his shareprice predictions with facts. He explains how he has calculated his prediction. For this reason I think that Croqman has picked the wrong person to accuse of ramping.
If you want to see mindless ramping go onto the UFO board and find the posts of Max. He really is a ramper!!
I suppose the question on everyone 's lips is .... "what is Bighammer's prediction for next Friday"?
A tree shake?
The mm's must need some shares to sell. Hopefully they weren't too successful.
