amers started off sounding as if he was close to dn. perhaps he is and i am quite happy with what he posts. he does however keep posting that there will be good news in a week or so. if nothing good coes out in the next couple of weeks i will be starting to smell bull****.

i was a little bit worried when i saw him mention an sp of 20 - 30 pence. this would mean a life changing sum of money to me. as a lth i have seen many people predicting riches for gdr. nothing has yet transpired. i hope that amers is not another one.

James. You keep on asking the same question and people give you the same answer. Why keep making the same point?? People hsve read the RNS from last week so there is little point in you continually quoting it.

I obviously do not know who you are but if someone is paying you to make the same point again and again, why don't you knock off and get some lunch?

I agree Mortalone that that would be a good resolution but the last RNS was unusually and unnecessarily personal. I cannot see DN and Gino getting on that well. Perhaps the great orange one could pop in on his way back from Egypt and mediate. 😁😁

Our currrnt mcap is just over £4m. DN'S 15% is therefore worth £600k. Presumably he bought some of his holding at a price lower than the current sp so lets assume that he has spent c. £500k to obtain his current position. ie About the same as a month's cashburn.

If you believe the BOD we need cash urgently to keep the lights on. Lets just hope that DN has deep pockets or knows someone with deep pockets.

Lets just assume for a minute that there is a No vote on Wednesday. What then happens???

DN indicates that he believes there are sources of finance available whilst the current BOD say there isn't. Does DN have deep pockets?

Does DN join the BOD? What happens to the current Directors. Gino is clearly an excellent scientist and should be persuaded to remain. Russ "investors should be happy that the sp is above 1.5p" can fo on Wednesday afternoon.

Will DN do a takeover? Are his pockets deep enough? Will he delist? Has he a major pharma lined up in the background?

Time will tell.....

So the BOD admit that they read and follow the posts on this board.... And all of a sudden a few new posters appear warning what will happen if the BOD do not get their way. What a coincidence!

The BOD do not seem to understand that the long term PIs are fed up with the lack of information and lies which have been fed to us in the last few years. God knows why I invested here 5 years ago and didn't sell up. I have lost 95% of my holding but have still held. DN may well be unproven. He may be a rogue. But at this point I would rather support him than the (extremely clever) scientists who don't have a clue as to how to run a business.

Is it just me or does anybody else think that there is something a bit odd about Disco dave? He only ever posts on Yu, is always posting with a negative viewpoint and repeats his posts on ADVFN.

I used to think that he was just a bit autistic. He clearly doesn't know as much as he thinks that he knows which used to make some of his posts quite funny.

Now however he is getting tedious. Somebody must be paying him to diss the company to such an extent. It is no longer funny, and if anything is counter productive. Does anyone tzke his posts seriously? Perhaps it is time for him to move his dancing shoes to some other company.

No. There is no dividend this half year.

Just a quick glance at the numbers issued for the half year makes you wonder what has been going on in this company. Correction of mistakes made in prior accounts should not be necessary for any company of this size.

Adverse Working capital movement of over £18 million in the "restated" 2024 accounts indicates management took their eyes off the ball badly in 2024. Were adequate cash controls in place at all?

Making assets sweat is a good business practice - but you have to wonder about long term sustainability when the cost of depreciation is double the amount of capital expenditure.

I think it may be time to sell my shares. I have been holding on hoping for a takeover approach but there comes a time when patience is exhausted.

... And so the share price continurs to drift down. Another 10% this week. Come on Volex. Come on anybody. Make a bid for us and put this bunch of deadbeats out of business.

This time last year the share price was c 160p. In November Volex appeared and offered 135p but our wonderful board decided that this was too low and undervalued the conpany. We are now at 100p and drifting in a market that is generally rising.

Are the directors incompetent or are they just interested on feathering their own nests by taking their salaries? Not sure which but I think that they should be sacked and new Directors brought in who would care for us shareholders.

Yes this has caused a tide so that all boats rise but please I will ask you again to explain why this has caused Yu's boat have risen further than the rest of the market? They have nearly doubled their market share.

"Only" 40% growth -not 50 %. That's correct. 40% growth. Most businesses would kill for a growth of "only" 40%.

Please explain how increasing market share by nearly 100% proves the theory about a rising tide. Surely if all boats are rising Yu would have merely retained their market share - not doubled it.

You are clearly getting very excited by these results. Calm down a little , post less often on this and the other board and try to be a bit more rational.

lorenzo, if i were you i would ignore the rznblings of disco dave. the bloke is full of ****, has been proved wrong on countless occasions and comes over as a sandwich short of a picnic.

for example he says that profits "have fallen dramatically". he doesn't know this as the only guidance that the company has given is to say that profits for 2024 will exceed expectations. the compzny has announced that revenue has increased by 40%. despite all this evidence good ol **** for brains has concluded that profits have

"fallen dramatically".
