Totally agree BoB. Whatever the sale figure, don't forget that the special dividend won't be 100% of that - it'll be a percentage (minimum of 80% if memory serves me correctly). Also we don't own 100% of the assets so a further reduction.

Stretch - you say 25p is laughable but made no comment on the £3.70 prediction. Do you think that £3.70 is more realistic than 25p ? If so, I think you are seriously deluded. Before the war (when the sp was in the 40's) I was hopeful of over £1 but within the current climate I believe there is now no longer any hope of this.

Unfortunately I can't see us getting anywhere near £1 with everything taken into consideration. My expectation would be nearer the 20 - 30p range. Anything near all time highs and I'll be very happy.

In the September RNS it was stated that “In addition, the Company expects to receive VAT refunds of circa £1.5 million” – this was not in todays update so has this been received by the company ?

The was no mention of the ability to activate the Sinosteel agreement today so is this no longer available – in the event of a no sale ?

What has happened with the US treasury notes (£1.54 million) that were listed in the September interims ?
