@SocialistB - yes we seem to agree on most things.

The main issue for me is that we have such a small market cap, the amount of money we're talking about is peanuts to big pharma so having the finance behind them is not an issue.

The obligation to make an offer is at 30% so any entity or entities acting in concert can make an offer. I was only referring to entities that had the money not some nutters making an offer when they only have £100 available.

I don’t expect them to do the 50% in one go but for all we know Prevail could be building a significant stake and together with one of their other likeminded investors, they could in theory get the 30% needed to make an offer. Please bear in mind that I don’t think this will happen but it’s possible.

Bein - who’ll never make it ? I assume you mean Avacta due to the imminent dx sale. If not, do you think they will be sold with dx or licensed out to the buyer ?

I think they definitely have a place in diagnostics and I hope Avacta license it out rather than include the IP in any sale. Hopefully we’ll hear the results of all the sale negotiations soon.

Bein - what is your issue with Affimers ? You were banging on about getting rid of them prior to AVA7100 being announced and now you’re saying they’ll never power a product.

I really hope they don’t dilute by 50% - especially to only 1 investor. This would put that investor in a prime position for a takeover.
