Kev, yep it is a considerable achievement. In September last year we inspecting and walking across an area of dirt (albeit there were lumps with shined bits laying around) and now there is that large modern plant there. Infrastructure, power, control, offices , trucks, roadway, crusher with grizzlies, conveyors, jig, mill, bins, concentrator, separators etc. Yep it’s fair to say it missed its target to be in production, however, it is also fair to say it was all put together very expediently in terms of mine construction. It is impressive. It gets very exciting from here. If we’re to get a good gold mine going at Sao Martinho in the same time span I will be all, woohoo!

Kev, I did indeed. I think I mentioned on here or at least when chatting on text. The initial benches were lower grade as I recall it, so I expected the initial processing was not going to give the highest yields. My recall of the visit was that the levels of scheelite got higher the more we moved across. When we got further along Fernando was picking up lumps that clearly showed the scheelite. I am pretty sure others from the visit would recall that. The note the benches move across the higher grade the ore will be. Well that’s my opinion based on what I have seen, stood on, picked up and walked along. If anyone considers that spin, or too many words, I cannot apologise for being me. Just facts as I see them.

We will still be ramping up production. I am not sure what the arrangements will be over the Xmas (three kings) holiday which may interrupt production levels, unless the fact that we have a highly automated plant allows for continued processing. MM did say at the AGM that the whole set up can be controlled by one man because of the automation.

DB , why the RNS is important. A tipping point is not always noticed at the time. The incident itself can pass unremarkably, but go on to have major effects. In this case it announces a field of dirt changed into one of the largest functioning tungsten mines in the world outside of China- all in a space of 14 months. I think that moving forward from this point is a hugely positive sea change in direction of travel. So in my opinion a singularly important RNS in terms of physical progress, and as important as the agreed funding RNS that facilitated the plant being built. You, for your own reasons, have expressed the view repeatedly that nothing has changed and also commented that the RNS is of no value. I plainly do not agree with your view on this matter or many others with regard to Wres - which I openly state I am heavily invested in and hence have interest in. I continue to be amazed at your work ethic for repeatedly pulling at negative strands on this bb coupled with your disdain for being invested. It’s quite a workload for something that is of no interest for you, imho .

Dreaming of, my view is that yesterday’s RNS is the most important since the agreed finance package with BlackRock. Now production is starting we can see a positive news flow. We are likely to be entering an era where you don’t have to bust MM’s chops or any other of his parts.
In fact you might end up wanting to snog him. Imagine an SP that reflects EBitda of $20-30 million.

I probably should not bother, but by way of clarification; production at La Parilla is evidenced by yesterday’s RNS that stated production was now taking place. The video showing the production was a nice thing to see for investors. So it was positive news evidenced from the RNS and illustrated for the pleasure of investors with the video. Most excellent imho.

The old concentrator is being dismantled ready to get taken to be reassembled at the site in Portugal. They may already be assembling. What a nice position to be, in a large plant producing with a second that just needs kit already owned to be reassembled. In sept last year at the site visit all that was there was a lot of dirt and the old concentrator. In 14 months we have seen huge development of la Parilla, it really is a huge change, and despite delays it’s quick for a mine development of this . nature-an incredible achievement to get it all done in the time. Well done to the management team imho. And more to come. I can start thinking about the gold at Sao martinho again...

Here is a fact, no Mumbo jumbo, there are those that have ‘spouted’ negative postings that have run into tens a day, day after day, for months by those expressing the view that they would not invest in this company. They make huge efforts to take the time to do it. These diatribes have been far more frequent and larger than my posts of philosophical positivity, which to be honest are constructed to try to mitigate the negativity. The motivation is a wonder to me for those that express dislike and then spend considerable time and effort knocking persistently. That this knocking may have caused some to sell out taking a loss when they could have made considerable gain, is shameful imho. What I express may be described as jumbo jumbo, but it is an honest view backed up by personal investment, research, visiting the site, meeting those undertaking the project and taking time to go to venues and agms etc. ......and it now seems that the evidence of the demonstrable running of the plant will be supported by sales of concentrate in the very near future. The suppressed SP makes for super buy price, and that’s a very well considered option imho.

Oh and tin and tormaline, and the grant money to come, and the higher grades at Régua, and oh the gold at Sao Martinho. You so easily forget, so much to come and all you lot can think of is producing tungsten at la Parrilla for a few million a month. I consider many of you to be rowdy trolls.

DB, one of my favourite poems is Not waving but drowning, by Stevie Smith. In this case you claim you are not lurking but watching. Which is a sort of inverse thing. Personally, I think your persistent view is drowning and I do not mistake it for your expressed opinion which is drowning. On a more positive note it’s a good opportunity for you to buy in.

There are different buildings, there’s all new different kit too, crusher, jig, mill, ‘a’ new concentrator, bins etc. Where it is appropriate to have roofs they have them. Some things like crushers do not. It is an excellent state of the art plant, using fit for purpose machinery that is designed for the site and ore body we are dealing with. .....and we are dealing with it! All most excellent quality.

OMR, there’s the hill and there’s beyond the hill. You can see the scheelite in the ground, as I recall it gets to be higher as you move in to the mining area. If we are hitting our specified grades whilst at the edges I think we find it gets better as we move across/ and it’s a big area. Some of the others that were on the visit may have a better memory, but I certainly recall Fernando picking up the ore and shining UV, the ore was just lying around in the dirt or bits of rock as some call it. It was from that point that it was clear to me that it was there, it was clear that the plant was there and constructed, it is now clear that it is operating. Words like ‘derisked’ form in my mind.

We have lift off.
Most excellent, we now know the plant is working. New ore to be fed in and concentrate at specified grades. Soon to be 24 hour production. I think we just moved our front leg over the cusp. We is now in the doing.

There’s been some comments made today. I do find DB strange; today there is implied investment in Wres, then makes a comment referring to tick down that is clearly in the realm of shadenfreude on a reduced SP. personally I don’t take pleasure in others (or my own) loss and upset. Very poor for the soul imho. Mind you, to be fair, I am no saint; imperfect, full of emotional swings with sometimes love for my fellow humans or desire to rip bits off. I have come to realise that it’s best to be pragmatic and consider outcomes before engagement. Simply put: always think what good will come of it. If you inflict harm, in any form, on another it brings little joy and can play on the conscience for ever after; conversely,if they deserved it make you smile inwardly for many years. That involves deciding on information available before, fighting, running away, investing, or if lucky, indulging in feminine charms. So my evaluation is that this is a jolly good investment. If there are those that gain on this or elsewhere, well done. If there are those that lose then commiserations. It is only a bb and it’s not worth being rude and such. If you wish to meet other investors etc, come to AGMs or other meets and have a good time with some fine people. If you want to have a row, you’re also welcome. We can cater for all sorts. One thing that is irritating is to see the the antagonistic and vexatious approach, where it’s easy to say things. Person to person is always best, and has shown that adversity does not have to be an outcome. And yes Kev is a decent guy, Tonlin is warm human being, NMH drinks yer wine and loved a laugh, GIT has done a considerable amount to improve the lot of his fellow man, hbob is fine example of being a decent human, golf pro is a considered individual, mr happy takes delight in being happy, mr Scott has many amusing tales, chaser and chaser junior laugh and enjoy life, stv enjoys all the riches of the universe from learning to simple friendship. Of the mgt team, MM is clearly very hard working and focussed, Aaron is enthusiastic, Justine is measured in her approach, fernando is serious in his conviction of there being a successful outcome. All in all, meeting and knowing people on this journey has been a great pleasure. I recommend that approach to anyone. I post, I have involvement, so do others. There are others that seem happy to pull and scratch, for why I don’t know.
And I wonder if we will get a nice RNS tomorrow.

I agree it’s a good buying price, wished Ai had all mine at these prices. However, I cannot see how we can fit at this price much longer. There is news waiting in the wings, there’s production to ramp up with the kit in place, so sooner rather than later. There’s been them there big spreads too, is that a news waiting thing?

L200 , that’s true. However, if we get near to 200 tons a month, economies of scale etc puts us on a very rosy path. 40 tons is very conservative figure from the new plant. However, we could be doing with some production numbers.
Hope the Brexit debacle does not hurt your farming, I dread to think there will be British farms going under,. I likes my Scottish beef, welsh lamb and me organic eggs and chicken. Pork always survives regardless

Devils B has posted about 18 times already, and he/she is not interested in the company and don’t like our CEO at all. Those of us with invested interest do not compare with that level of effort. Imagine if dB does this on all the bbs, I would imagine so because he/ she can’t be invested in all the others so that would require the same input.- surely dB would not randomly keep banging on at just one bb obsessively, that would not be rational. Gosh that could lead to plagiarism and doing things like using oldskool’s ‘confirmation bias’ phrase and such.

Do I reckons you’re estimates is a bit high for costs.
