I assume that is the end of any chance of a government test order.
Best we can do is vote the corrupt bunch of criminals out next election. I have no idea why anybody voted for them anyway.
Is Bethel still there? No coroboration.
No, not doubled down on Avacta, added to.
Biosure have antibody tests and a rapid antigen test for professional use, but no clear spec on their website. No clear statement as to which test ABDX will be manufacturing in RNS.
All a bit odd and probably no threat to Avacta.
Quisling and traitors, are words that spring to mind for this government, sold out. I hope this all comes out eventually and the government falls.
You obviously completely misunderstood my point about PCR'S. Read it again, TEMPLAR was correct PCRs will be needed less when the Avacta test is out. Why would I invest in a PCR company?
Perhaps you don't know what superseded means.
Affimers are new technology
No need for that, you are just proving my point, unfortunate, no greater supporter of Avacta than me.
At least I am polite. Not annoyed just sad.
As I said about PCR's, they will not be as important., and so not needed as much.
Ohh dear paranoia, that’s called, no wonder I do not post much. At it’s best this board is great, though recently you are right some less than sane people have infected it. Bring back those weekends when the research was all that mattered.
It has been a long haul, and we can all get tired

Of course AffiDX is superb for home use, but I did not think it would be validated for that purpose by HMRA. Al certainly did not as he intimated in the question and answer session at the end of the presentation. I hope you are right but it would be speculation not fact. It sounded like Medusa were going to do several sessions more , then more data.
I am not being negative about all this, though some might think it, that is why I asked for input on a bank holiday weekend, all will be forgotten by Tuesday, the nature of this media. I am deeply invested in this share and have been for some time and do not intend to sell or trade.
People seem very prickly about Avacta on this board, it says more about the nervousness about.
Perhaps a bit much to say PCR will be superseded but could well have a significant effect. Your figures are for current growth of PCR industry

I doubt if Medusa's efforts have made it to HMRA and as for the government, do you trust them? It does not sound like Al does or many other people. If this is going to work, we should not rely on the government as you suggest. I am sure Al isn't.
I would like to understand not just blindly accept the general view when clearly there are certain criteria to meet, Al is probably fully aware, but it still needs an explanation.
On re reading HMRA site says 150 positive samples and 250 negative samples needed. Sorry for the 98 comment. Still a significant difference.
The rest of message refers to the how a disruptive technology is seen by old owners of a technology likely to be superceded.
I am a substantial shareholder in Avacta.
This topic has been covered before , but with no convincing answers.
HMRA rules seem to require 150 clinical samples, Avacta's covid test has 98 clinical samples. It has been stated that other covid tests have had less samples used. I would have thought that such a good covid test would need to pass this regulatory hurdle with flying colours. After all Avacta's science does threaten the income of the giant PCR industry, many billions of pounds involved. I'm sure they would like it to fail.
I hope Al has covered this problem and maybe using a European regulatory body as well. On past performance this kind of mistake would lead to months of delay.
Anybody have any more knowledge of this subject than I ? I have tried to put a link in but it failed, but easy to find on the HMRA site
Yes it is weird, it could only be the British reserve. We should be celebrating this amazing UK science success with as much enthusiasm as is displayed in the Liverpool trials. Mind you, the media coverage has been terrible through the Pandemic, with few exceptions.
Perhaps a clap for UK science ! Just not British unfortunately.
Back to normal now?
HL selling price 255 buying 253?!??
A bit strange David Wilson will not be part of the webnar. He is after all the main man for the commercial side of diagnostics and and I would think would know most about the sell side of the LFT. ????
LSE seem to have shot themselves in both feet. PL75, Matt, and Space, have all contributed greatly to the bb. I see no reason to ban them. Please do the right thing and bring them back. The longer you delay the worse it looks.
They still are testing so do have a testing strategy, just not a good test . Let’s hope Avacta’s test comes soon. I see no good reason to ban any one talking about COVID tests on the bbc. What is this place, a Russian state controlled oligarchy.
Definitely not an alternative but alongside to help us gather in the hospitality sector and sports.
