Global tin supplies will likely face problems from August 2023 as Myanmar’s Wa region, which contributes 10 per cent to world’s supplies of the metal’s concentrate, has decided to suspend mining operations “until mature mining conditions are in place”

Doesn’t say exactly when in August but that’s an awful lot of material that will not be supplied to a established demand.

I have said it before but I’m going to say it again; ATM would be able to mine, ship and put a ton of tin at the top of South Crofty mine and it would still be cheaper than Cusn can do it.

I,ve just had chance to read the Hannam note issued today, all great stuff and I can’t see why the reaction to the RNS was so negative, newbie’s or weak hands that haven’t grasped the value of the project here,. I,ll post the link to the note, well worth reading.

Shadowless, in the AV comment on the jorc compliance he demonstrated a real knowledge of the ground and drilling techniques, to get good core in a weak matrix a large diameter core barrel is needed, large diameter core barrels require large rigs that are harder and more expensive to operate and mobilise. He knows his stuff and knows what he has in the ground because of the bulk samples and combined with the decent core that they have, proper miner. To prove it they have mined the stuff and sure enough is proven right, he’s a bit old school and I like that. Happy to hold and if the opportunity arises I may be having a few more.

TT, I still hold masses of SLP, I’ve had them forever and they still serve me well. Can’t believe that they are getting bashed on the BBs. Basically I’m confident in both but I am over exposed to the region as a whole.

I will start looking for the next big thing but need to diversify into medical or fuel cells. I’m a longer term investor so like getting in early and holding until I find something that hasn’t already been exposed.

Started buying at 2.55p so the change in SP has made a large impact on portfolio %. My trouble is that I always reason why would I put money into my 2nd or 3rd fav stock and then buy a few more.

Point taken m9991 however, there’s not many mining companies that have actually achieved profitability and have Jorc compliant resources and ramped up production x10 and all within 5yrs. I haven’t seen any reason to doubt the management quite the opposite in fact and when compared with other early stage mining companies, we are valued cheaply.

Or perhaps by some reasoning the comparable companies are all over valued and we are valued correctly.

Until now they haven’t extracted the lithium or tantalum; so no value. That’s changed so let’s see what the next quarterly update says. The ramp up is in progress and we should start having a financial benefit by the end of this month.

Much more refined and detailed than I was able to come up with, but it isn’t too good to be true. I still consider myself blessed to have stumbled across ATM and can’t understand that people are not understanding the scale and mine life. It’s a once in a lifetime thing.

There’s so much more interaction on this board than ever before, more posts on a Sunday than there used to be in a week. It can only be a matter of time before there’s an even greater acceptance of potential here by the mainstream.

Tbh, when I bought in I was buying for the tin alone, as the story unfolded I have continued to build my holdings, the lithium being a real bonus. I still believe that tin remains a seriously undervalued mineral and has a lot of upside to the price.

Still the more throughput of ore then the more lithium and tin profits, dig dig dig.

Recon sampling and grab samples are a bit arbitrary as the geologists pick up the samples that best represent what they are looking for, there’s simply nothing that can compare to core drilling

Not to much of a stretch to imagine that if/when Askari get into production ATM could be used as their processor. We are a lot further advanced in our operations than they are and by the time they start pulling material we should have phase 2 operational or close to be operational. The only issue could be the competition for the limited manpower resources in the area.

Askari are very active on Twitter and regularly written about in Aussie trade magazines.
