I have sent my letter to the clerk of Commons Committee and also cc my MP. I have received a reply from my MP asking for more information so he can investigate further. I know there are alot of people on here and III who have a wealth of information and knowledge regarding Xcite which would be more than i can provide. Would anyone be willing to share so i can forward to my MP who can hopefully take this onboard. Thanks in advance

I would be obliged if someone could post this on iii as a response to Upanchors 18.07 post as i don't have access. I can only speak for myself, I don't post alot but i do read the boards and i am fully appreciative to the people who are trying to do something about this corporate theft from Xel shareholders. With regards to the statement about shareholder apathy, i think there are alot of people behind the scenes like myself trying to get some justice from the authorities that should be protecting us but like myself have came up against a brick wall. I have emailed the FCA, OGA, my now ex MP Angus Robertson and the Scottish first minister. I received no reply whatsoever from the SNP and a standard reply from the FCA. I received a sympathetic letter from the OGA who said it had been reported as market abuse but that's been about it. I don't think people who have lost tens of thousands of pounds are lying down and doing nothing, i myself feel i am not getting anywhere, call me stupid but I don't know who to turn to next. I am in the process of writing to my new MP but feel it will be a waste of time as we all now know the whole system is as corrupt and bent to work against the honest working man. I cannot believe that RC has been able to start another business after letting another one run into the ground and that this newly formed company can just take over the Bentley field with the licence with Government approval as if we haven't existed.

9 January 2017 To all known shareholders Dear Sir / Madam Xcite Energy Limited – in liquidation (“XEL”) The purpose of this letter is to provide an update on the conduct of the liquidation following the Joint Liquidators’ letters of 6 and 14 December 2016, which can be found at http://www.fticonsulting- emea.com/cip/xcite-energy-ltd. The 6 and 14 December letters included answers to a number of initial questions we considered shareholders may have. Attached to this letter are answers to additional questions which shareholders have raised to date. The sale of XEL’s assets The Joint Liquidators have now concluded their review of offers received to date for the shares held by XEL in Xcite Energy Resources plc (the “Shares”). To date, the M&A process has resulted in four offers for the Shares. Due to commercial sensitivity we cannot provide full details on these offers, the terms and proposed transaction structures of which varied. However, we can confirm that: none of them would result in a return of any value to shareholders based on the values of the offers; and secured creditor consent would be required to complete a sale pursuant to any of the offers. Having reviewed the bids received and consulted with secured creditors, we can now confirm that the Joint Liquidators are in advanced negotiations with a party to conclude a transaction. Toxic, Well done for managing to get even a reply from your MP. I have sent letters to mine and the first minister without any kind of acknowledgement. You would think they would show some kind of interest as it is on their doorstep. Ii think their party will be in for a shock in the next elections.

Dear sir I would be obliged if you could raise some question in parliament on the behaviour and actions by the board of directors running of Xcite Energy and the financial ruin they have brought to many private investors through misguided, misinformed and absolute lies over the past few years. You could also question the running of the Aim stock market which is nothing more than legalised robbery of investors of their hard earned cash by men in pin striped suits in London. As the Bentley field which has proven reserves of 267m bbls of heavy oil and has proven to flow by an expensive extended flow test which was required by DECC a few years ago to forward this project, is now virtually worthless. With this lying in Scottish waters and not off the Falkland islands or Libya, I find it hard to believe that the SNP haven't taken more interest in trying to develop what is left of the dwindling stocks of oil in the North Sea off the Scottish coast rather than channel all their energy in other agendas that have flowed under the bridge. I look forward in you giving this your attention and look forward to some action being taken. Regards

I have been a holder here for 7 years and invested in a project i truly believed in. I haven't posted before but have been a regular reader on here and iii. You get to know the good and bad guys but i did what i was told and listened to the BOD's, wish i hadn't now. I did my research and put virtually my families life savings in here which was hard earned cash hoping it would bring a better life in latter years, how wrong could i be. To say i feel stupid is an understatement, just like so many stories i have read about on here and iii. On a personell level, when the reality struck after the mind blowing rns about dilution, i didn't sleep for 4 days worrying, had palpitations and sweats and honestly thought i was going to have a heart attack. I had just potentially lost tens of thousands of pounds, i let myself and my family down as now life will not be easy. After a good bit of soul searching i've asked myself many a time what can i do. Probably nothing is the answer but i feel angry and frustrated that these modern day liars and robbers can get away with this and carry on regardless. So i have written to Andy Samual at OGA and got the same reply as many others. I also wrote to the FCA and would like to share this extract in a reply i got from them that has given me a slight glimmer of hope. Thanks for your email about Xcite Energy. I also wrote to Nicola Sturgeon but no surprise there not getting an answer. I was quite angry when i saw her in Aberdeen getting some publicity to herself at the opening of the new Statoil office. I wonder if she would be happy with the publicity if it comes out that Statoil are behind the possible fall of Xcite and Bentley? We all know that the low oil price had been a factor but not all imo.
