Graph says to sell OCDO at 1139. Bit too close to my buy price of 1130 though.

Another few months like this and I will be a nervous wreck.
Just bought back into HUR at 10.99p now have another 1.13% more shares, not much but added to 3.24% earlier today...it's getting there

well I bought back into OCDO but accepted 1129.9 by mistake (amateur!!!)
At least now I have a mere 0.51% more shares

Messed up on OCDO (this time....remember rule 8), definsately looks more likely to be above 1140 than below 1130 soon.
Sold TLW at 17.3p, first time I have traded them in weeks, they were up 7% and the graph said "yes".

Doh! Messed up, could have bought OCDO at 1132 but dithered and it got away from me.

graph says 1129 to buy OCDO in, just missed it myself....was selling HUR again and I have sold oe tranche of SAGA at +9.85%

sold MCRO at 633.5 and OCDO at 1143.5, nicely above my purchase price so happy.

Chart was tellig me to sell both MCRO and OCDO so think you did well to act. I didn't sell OCDO for a stupd reasdon...wanted 11.38 as that was what I paid for them inc costs. Stupid, stupid of me.
Sold some LLOY earlier that I bought yesterday for a £980 profit. Also sold HUR earlier and bought back, for 3.3% extra shares

There was abou a ten percent increase on Brent Oil price ovenight although it has lost a little of that in last hour or so. Now stands at $36.15

Yes, looks like today might bring the beginning of a smile to some faces including mine I hope.
Still have a bunker mentality and while not exactly hiding from the market, I am feeling super cautious.

Of course I want a bounce back as emphatic as the fall but I am less hopeful. There are several reasons at play here, general trade war US/China, the oil price war Opec(SA)/Russia, over inflated share values especially in US, very long (too long?) bull market, add in uncertainty of Brexit then cover it all with Covid-19, a potent mixture and I can't see much good news around at the moment or on the horizon.
Sorry, for all this doom. But yes, it will recover, it must. The timescale will be slow I fear but it will recover.

O: That's a nice range of stocks, recon you are well set up for the recovery.

T: I went out, had a nice time in a tea shop we frequent, didn't feel I could do anthing positive hovering over the screen and increasing my anxiety levels.

O: I think that Albamarle got caught out because their value was related partly (or mostly) to the gold they were holding and gold went down a lot.,

O: I remember years ago there used to be a share programme at lunchtimes (on Channel 4?). One share they tipped was Albamarle and Bond (pawn shops). I bought some and more or less forgot about them, they did reasonably well for a few years then went broke. I was devastated even though I only paid about £600 for the shares, they went up to about £2000? before they failed. Then I added up all the dividends they had paid me and I found I was still ahead even with inflation.
T: Sounds like a good move doing your FRES/MCRO shuffle. Can't see me trading today, my head is too deep in the sand. If I had had the "spare" cash earlier I would have bought LLOY and WJG.

Oops, I seem to be holding the wrong shares..TLW down 37%, HUR down 22%, MCRO down 10%, SAGA down 13%, PFC down 20%, LLOY down 12%. Not to mention OCDO, FEVR, ASOS and CNA! I think I am taking this rather well.

Very reluctant to buy anything even though I agree there will be some big bargains out there. Don't want to add any more cash. What a day this will be. When they ask where were you on the day of the crash 9 March 2020....we'll be able to say....watching it live! LOL

Yes I understand and respect what you are telling me but seriously doubt I can achieve 10% increase in shares per week. (I refer you to my posting on thursday at 18:46). When I do achieve a healthy increase in shareholding even twice in two days, I think it is as much to do with luck than judgement. However, I will persevere.
It is interesting how well gains on FRES has fitted into the periods when you have been waiting for a shake on MCRO, very good use of the funds!
