OCDO, Tline saying hold

I can't even get the CCL data on Yahoo Finance!
Yes Tline indicates buy and sell conditions, but after the "best" trading price so trying to second guess Tline to get better prices but came unstuck with a lloy trade, sold before Tline said sell and regretted it. Computer driving me mad.

L: yes, I am using the actual share price as a guide as well as Tline. Also using Stochastic and w%R indicators.
Happy so far with Tline.

T: I am have computer problems. Very slow, keeps losing my posts, misses keystrokes, cant run Tline on some shares, keep having to rest my dealing platform. Doh

Ha, 50% invrease Friday, then same today although back to 39% now. No have been too busy with other plates. Gino is in the front seat.

now Tline recommends buy CCL at 674

bought CCL at 672 but against Tline recommendation for 4.7% more shares

missed ideal buy on ocdo, bought at 1368.5 Doh. T line not foolproof!
still waiting for a clear buy signal on ccl, which I sold at 707

T line says don't buy yet on ccl and ocdo but they are very close

Don't worry about AFX O, I made a profit.
Using T line but am having to juggle too many balls even for me. Sold CCL and OCDO earlier on T line recommendation.

L, thank you for highlighting the T8 Bigalow tutorial. I have started watching it and applied it to a couple of my shares and it looks like I have to look further into it. It looks promising.

Lefkosia, thanks. If you've read much of this blog you'll know I for one certainly need better tools to time share trades. I will make time to check through those links.

O: I heeded your warning and sought to sell AFX, it was a tricky little blighter to sell at a good high price. Obviously the spread reduced during the day but even at the close it was something like 5% as indicated by IG but in reality if you actually ask for lots of quotes SOMETIMES, you get a much better price offered that the spread suggests. Yes, I have seen this on other shares, including AIM shares. Anyway I was a bit cheeky, I wasn't going to accept a "mere" 5% profit on it so tuned my limit sell fortuneately, luckily, just right at 625. The sale went through at 630 so I made 11%. Thank you O.
I will accept any number of shares like that if you come across some more. You are holding AZN and Bango?

TLW went up to +58% at one point. My strategy is to hold.

Only one trade today for me (although I nearly sold CCL at 650, didn't as I have lost my bottle with them)

Good defensive move that on CCL. I note that the CCL future in US has moved up a bit to +3.75% but it's moving between +3.6% and +4.1%. This should feed through to UK price but thinking about cause and effect, but then our CCL is up nearly 5% which may be informing the US futures at least to a certain extent.
Have been reading about the "upsizing and pricing" that has been taking place this week, I don't fully understand it but see it as a dilution.

Don't worry T, I'm still standing. I see CCL Future in US is suggesting up 3%.
Having slight good fortune elsewhere, NCYT up 11% and TLW up 18%
I could list all my holdings that are down but choose not to.

O: Looking at AFX, that is a heck of a spread, do they always have 10% or so spread? I suppose it is still early.
T: I'm just watching CCL for now, doubt I will trade them soon.

Thanks for the words of comfort V, sad to say that it helps to know others make the same wrong moves.
Funny really as I started the day meaning to make fewer trades. 5 so far, buy on OCDO, sell and buy on CCL and a sell and a buy on LLOY (which at least netted me a whopping 0.63% more shares...ha!)
On the plus side I have finally felled the holly tree blocking my shed project...shouldn't have attempted it really given the mood I am in.

CCL is turning into a disaster for me.
OK this is how NOT to be a successful trader.....
I sold CCL at 620 because I felt they would fall a lot.
They didn't so I bought them back at 644 then they started to fall, so what did I do next?
Yes, I went outside to continue with my shed.
