Dr P Cox (CEO) was meant to be the SA mining expert but it looks like his experience is out dated. He doesn't seem to be able to get things moving. We need to replace him with someone who is capable of doing the job and has more recent success/experience.

A few years back I looked at both BMN and IRON and chose IRON over BMN. Main reason I went with IRON was because I trusted their management more but they have been really embarrassing with their constant missed timelines. Really disappointed in this at the moment. Put a lot of faith in Giles and Peter but now doubting them a lot. Hopefully management can still pull through and win back some credibility.

Another holding RNS - they've sold close to 400k. Wish they'd stop :-(

Any idea why the big buys today didn't help the SP rise?

Just wish the the funding would be sorted quickly.. Management need to put a proper project plan in place with real milestones so we don't all feel like being in the dark all the time... This will deliver eventually and when it does it will pay.. Patience :-)

I've been reading on this co and really like the fact that it has cash and its break even point is about 30 a barrel. I think it's the right time to dip my toe in now at this bargain price. But before I do, can anyone help me with a couple of questions pls?... Has the detailed plan for this year been shared yet? I know in the Dec RNS they say they will share soon. Also what is the next bit of info people are waiting for? I've read 'news anytime now' in a few BB's? Thanks for your help

Great RNS. Even though there is no new info, the quality of the comma is great. Explains the potential well and shows management have all their ducks in a row. They can support to the due diligence process but ultimately the time it takes is out of control. The wait is still painful but I'm really happy with the communication

It's crazy - they are back down to 0%. Was hoping to see this a lot higher on the back of todays RNS :-(

All the management team in Iron are also involved with projects/management duties with other companies. I hope that isn't stopping them from giving Iron the time it needs. I get the feeling we are a bit neglected. The management took their salary in shares which is also encouraging. It would be nice to see all the management buy a few. Eventually this will reward us all but the waiting is painful. Good luck all

If it does go ahead, will they have to RNS in the afternoon so it's fair for the Canadians? Or can they RNS in the morning?

Good post Betfair. Timelines have slipped a few times - most of the times it's been down to gov approvals. I got the impression earlier this year that funding and off takes would happen in summer. This seems to be dragging a bit, taking the sp down. As soon as they are finalised (fingers crossed they can stick to before year end), the sp will go back up steadily to the teens. Well, that's what I think anyway. It's all up to the management team now. Hope they can pull it off soon coz this waiting game is really painful. And hope they improve the communications because saying things like x is in advanced stages and then going quite for several months doesn't help.

New RNS..Funding now expected by end of year. But Senior manager for construction recruited so hopefully things on the ground can start moving.. GLA
