Interesting slight change of wording around dividends. In Q1 it was "USD$0.015 per share per quarter and incremental amounts from available cash consistent with maintaining the minimum liquidity level."

Now the statement is it may it up or down from the current (2c), which may mean we can hope for an average of 8c per annum. Of course with increasing sales and production fully expect this to go higher.

Hardly a slump LOL. The company budgeted for an average of $83 for this FY. Pretty spot on.

Agreed. Seems a bargain at this price. Certainly one of the highest yields for this share that I've seen. The risk is always capital loss with property at the moment, so steady is great by me.

Better than I was expecting. For the driest summer on record, remarkable. With an uplift in dividend too. Very happy.

Try using Google! The Canadian withholding tax on dividends for UK based accounts should be 15%. 25% is the default rate in countries without an agreement with Canada. Well, that is what Google search confirms and its what HL deduct. I don't use HSBC though.

Last year the AGM statement included:

"The Group produced cash-generative, profitable growth in line with market expectations, continued its unbroken record of dividend growth and made good progress on the actions and investments that we set out at our Capital Markets Day (CMD) in March 2022."

They look like delivering again within market expectations in 2023, albeit at the lower end. So I assuming that they will continue their unbroken record of dividend growth.

Dividend? You'll be lucky. They spend all their cash on new plants and decommissioning old ones.

The news reports seem to be focusing on the statement "reported revenue for the year declining by c.2% (c.6% decline in organic constant currency ("OCC")²) as a result of a continuing challenging market environment". They seem to ignore the record PBT, improving from last year by a considerable margin.

Considering we've already been sold down this year, the update was pretty positive IMO. I've also topped up. Looks like over 6% yield here. Incredible.

Brent now around $93. Will it break the recent high? Just staying around here would be very nice.

Must admit I've been put off topping up with the huge drop in EPS in h1. Lots of great assets but doesn't seem to be yielding the profit I expect. However the market seemed to like the report, although with shorters in the background it's hard to tell. I'm keeping my holding as my average is very low, but I'm hoping for an improvement in h2.

The company said in their update that they were currently producing 12,500 bpd. Anyway its all short term noise, happens every year, albeit its getting worse for sure.

Getting another sales route going will be great, and if they can get the Peru ONP operational it will make a difference. Looks like the share price is moving forwards well in low volumes. Think there's a lack of liquidity on the market as the company buy backs are very low some days. Just my view.

Must be vulnerable to a predator, especially with that cash pile.

Can't believe we are falling again in low volume. Expected some sort of decent recovery. Guess it's the shorters at it again taking us slowly down.

So the current MCAP is £190m and we hold around £100m in cash? So the effective valuation the market is placing on us is £90m. I find that quite unbelievable.

Many thanks. Another good year. Worth saying net cash has increased from $78.6m at end of Q4 2022, an increase of $48m. This is excellent after paying dividends and Karo costs last year IMO

Quite, Surprised. We exited Q3 with $19m more unrestricted cash than 3 months ago, despite the extra special dividend and the buy backs. Will be interesting to see what the Q3 dividend is. That's for next month though.

All looks as expected, plus a new sales route hopefully opening November.
