It's not a spike in revenue. Its because they took over SDL. Paid in cash and around 100m shares (from memory), when priced at £7 a share. Now buying those shares back at an average of £2.40 with cash.
They need to stabilise still after the SDL purchase and integration. Should be starting to realise the operational synergies.

I see! So the US doesn't have increased flooding or soaring heatwaves like the rest of the planet then. Lucky them. It's this kind of stupidity that will destroy the planet. Probably not that the Utah AG would care as it probably won't happen in his lifetime.
RBC said its long-held belief is that share buybacks are a major catalyst for outperformance in the tobacco space given a lack of investor appetite related to ESG constraints.
"This has driven our preference for Imperial Brands over BAT until today," it said. "The tables seemed to be turning for BAT as it pledged to reinstate share buybacks once it reaches net debt/EBITDA of 2.5x.
I know exactly what the current policy is, and the guidance is excellent in knowing that profits are shared with shareholders.
However, a slight modification to the policy where the minimum percentage returned is banded, and a greater percentage of profit is returned at lower profit levels would be good. For a shareholder it would flatten the dividend profile, while still leaving plenty of funds for expansion. If the minimum returned was 30% at expected MPAT then the dividend would be maintained.
This would help stop the yoyo effect we get. Great for the traders, not so good for investors.
The directors would then have less profit to work with when prices are low, which is exactly the time when you want to limit growth, and the likely result would be the Karo time line would be extended.
Of course the directors still have this flexibility with the current policy and may still decide to maintain the dividend.
I tend to agree that maintaining a certain level of dividend, when there is a lot of cash in the bank is important to shareholders. Its not all about profit after tax in any given year. Smoothing dividends for investors is important, well it is for investors! That said, I also like asset growth. The diversification into Chrome was excellent, and anyone buying now basically gets that investment for free as the shareprice is back to where we were a couple of years ago.
Noticed the shareprice moving up. Is a fundraise on the way? Or is the project finally going to start? Must admit I try and avoid looking on here for fear I'll bottle it and sell out my small speculation here. One day Rodney....
FWIW, my view is that this was sold down from £28 with a view that an impairment charge on the US assets would be needed. We have fallen further on the realisation of that charge, and perhaps a knee jerk reaction by some. Sitting at MCAP and NAV equality, this cash machine looks cheap to me now. Should be in the £24 to £25 range IMO. DYOR
You're right Sturm. It will be hard to accumulate as this seems to be held, in the main, by lth. A few traders on the oil price drivers, which helped them get some shares in the past few days. However, if oil starts rising again we could see a lot of competition for the shares. The only way to accumulate is to raise the share price IMO
You sound like an old school Tory with your head buried in the sand. Get real, the world is changing.
Certainly strange sells on AIM. Looks a bit like someone needing to liquidise a position quickly for reasons we'll never know. With 3 main markets it's not a share that can be easily manipulated. Will join in the lottery tomorrow at 8:00 for any late black Friday bargains. I'm not expecting to be lucky though!
I said it 3 months ago, but their focus on ESG property is spot on. Also mentioned the progressive dividend fully covered by income. At 7.5% current return seems very good value.
Also REITs are also looking very oversold as a sector, and just starting to turn upwards IMO. GLA
