I like to buy stocks like these (down heavy) because you tend to get maximum value. It pains me to see retail investors post on here 'sold out' after news like this. I always think to myself, you sold out of a growing and profitable company at prices not seen for 5 years. The mentality is all wrong for these people, if you believe in the company and that they'll recover, just think that you can buy more of the company at a discount.

I think 99% of people would think that at some stage in the not so distant future, the price will be more than 100p. So why sell now when you can just let it sit in there for a bit. IF YOU'RE DOWN ON A POSITION, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SELL. JUST WAIT FOR IT TO COME BACK. PSYCHOLOGY OF MONEY.

Pokerchips, mcklondon has a massively inflated ego in respect of stocks. Firstly, he corrected me when I said 145p support was broken, and he goes, no, the support was 144.63p - OK. Secondly, he was absolutely adamant that you should not buy until the third day after a profit warning RNS. I have nothing against the guy, but to be so adamant and then to be proved wrong is quite nice to see.

He isn't always right. I stand by what I said, I make no apologies.

Yea I saw your comments on the Boo forum. £1.06 per share is fine for me even if it goes to 80p that you seem so confident it will go to. If you're right, fair play, but I'll take my chances.

Took a punt on Boo at 106p at 169 as I said I would earlier. Hope to get a Cine style bounce. Great movement for THG today though, Matalan deal is great for sentiment.

Cineworld jumped 12% at a point today after dropping heavy. I wouldn't want to miss out on a similar jump.

Great stuff, those in at 167p fair play to you. Hopefully it works out as it has done for US stocks. I didn't really want to double my investment in THG tbh lol.

Yea, I think we're past the point of caring what the city boys think about buying at the bottom. I remember buying bab**** last year at the 220p after dropping 25% it kept going down to 200p, there was no end in sight and then 2 directors bought and it skyrocketed after that.
