I don't get the fuss on that front... he's taking a load of shares instead of salary. A salary which no doubt would be higher at another company and all cash. Seems to me that he's putting his money where his mouth is and aligning with shareholders every month just by investing his time as well as the remuneration deferment.

Don't know why PIs on AIM think their BOD should be buying bags of shares every time the SP drops.

Looks like Schroders are done selling for now and have gotten down to a level they're happy with, hence releasing a holdings RNS confirming new holding level.

I don't think it's indicative of any knowledge of Saffron. Frankly if Saffron were to be a duster at lower cruise and Schroders knew about it already for the last few weeks they'd have been FAR more aggressive on the sell side than they have been.

Price action looks much more like they're wanting to reduce exposure without collapsing the SP, rather than outright dumping.

We might see a bit of a natural bounce now if the pressure on the BID is easing.

I know it's not the main goal of the drill but i'm surprised that the share price hasn't been lifted by confirmation that at the very least the middle sands are expected to be commercial.

Must say i'm a little disheartened by that update.

Seems very much as though it's not going to be a stellar outcome for the well otherwise we'd have heard something along those lines. The tone of the wording is heavily based around what they've learned from the operations and how they're going to have to go away and look at the results in more detail.

Not saying it's a duster or a disaster, but considering what was being hoped for in terms of potential upside, i get the feeling it's going to fall far short.

I read it as simply that we're not at target depth yet, nice oil shows at various depths so far, wait out for final results.

I don't see anything beyond that either positive or negative at this stage.

presumably holding drop is a consequence of enlarged shares in issue figure following M&G placing, rather than any sell down from Gangfeng.

It's nice to see the tide turn, looks like a meaningful uptrend has begun. I'm happy to hold long term on this one, the multiple institutional interest along with the potential in our project is something rarely seen on this market.

How can this just keep falling through such a heavy and relentless buy back scheme. God only knows how low it'd be going if the company wasn't hoovering them all up every day?!

Anyone buying the stock at this price knowing that there's £1.8m stacked on the bid needs their heads testing. Have some respect for market mechanics. Save your powder for sub 0.2, you'll have plenty of chance to buy there in the coming weeks.

Agree COdey, watched many companies use buy backs to no avail at all in the price.

Divis on the other hand are far more exciting to people and there's always a rush prior to ex div as you say.
