Happy to see this share keeps on moving upwards but can anybody explain the LSE headline pricing:
share price 824
bid 873
ask 775
Maybe I have had too much sun today
Am a very small shareholder in what I hope will be an exciting company. Alarmed at the rapidly falling share price I contacted their pr people and asked whether there had been any recent bad news or whether a fund raising was imminent. The response was ''there have been no recent announcements by the company that could have been read negatively''.
Appears to be a few sizeable sellers out there. Ruffer is , I think , still the major shareholder on behalf of its various charities. Anybody know if they are getting rid of shares on a regular basis ? if so, Why ?
Bought in mid March as felt the fall from 160 to 130 a little overdone. Had expected to see small recovery by now, hopefully this just around the corner.....
Yours much appreciated. So it could be Citibank, L&G or Goldman doing the selling as FTO no longer a 'premium listed stock'. Believe Citi ownership linked with Vitol but the other two have some 150 mio between them so we could see some heavy sales. Thanks your input
Saw your reply to Chris. Where do you think the market is going to settle ? I used to be quite close to Vitol and I think they maintain their interest in FTO
I really cannot understand how some 20 mio shares have been purchased before 1100am against sales of under 1 mio and yet the share price is down 10 pct. Suppose it at least it has allowed me to buy a few more at 9.2
