Over 1 mio bought in last few minutes of trading today and we have a nice 17p price rise on the day. About time !

My small purchase just before closing not yet showing up but will probably be reported as a sale. Bit surprised get shade under 65, as was only price checking....

Treacle you are right about the trades. I bought a few more end of last week and again it was shown as a sale.

As of midday my broker selling at 8.75 and buying at 8.62 so quite a few people who elected for the drip are well out of the money. Unsure why the price is falling quite so rapidly, personally thought it was going to rise after the divi payments.

Thanks yours. No intention of selling. This is a nice little investment and think the shares will rebound pretty quickly. Was just wondering if I had missed some news.

Have I missed some bad news ? Any reason why the price has fallen from over 160 to 145 in a matter of days with just a few sales showing.

are todays prices. Early morning buyers up around .60 but a rash of sellers now running the price down to .40. That's one heck of a daily movement. Anybody any idea what is happening ?

Looks like the Times short review has sparked some new buying interest. Always like to see the ceo of these smaller companies having a substantial shareholding.

You are probably right. Would make sense.have just checked current price with my broker, .37 to .44. Heck of a spread.

Loads of sales so far this week. But just after lunch today some brave punter risked almost £ 100 to buy a few.....

Market seems to be all over the place this morning yet my broker is quoting the tightest spread I have seen. 10.55 buy and 10.53 sell. Thanks to the biggest tax free diviidend ( well since Mannesmann..).am not sure what to do with the cash in my ISA, at least as far as FTO is concerned.Maybe I am a drip for not appreciating a long time ago that this company permitted shares as well as cash for dividends but 11.86 looks pretty steep so will just console myself with looking at the cash...

Have held this share for some time now through highs and lows. It's down at the moment because of a lack of any positive news but Leyshon is well-funded and assets are ahead of the share price. As long as PA holds around 13pct of the company I think I will trust in his ability bring something to the table, in time.

You had better be careful.....all this talk of monkeys,bananas and peanuts will have us thinking you manage England. Seriously, I too bought into SSE last century at under £ 6 but have been in and out a few times since then. Know they do not always get themselves a favourable press but I do think that the recent drop in price is somewhat overdone but the Sept dividend did still look nice. Regards

Hesus Jolly, you are everywhere... Have just today bought a few Melrose so watch the price go down over the next few weeks. More seriously, quite a few press articles in past weeks reckon this is a good company to buy in to.
