Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Strange, I thought Covid-19 antigen tests had been around a long time, and Covid-19 antibody tests had only just come to market. It's the antibody tests that will get the world back to work. You've got it the wrong way round hants.
You can judge how valuable CF thinks anything covid related is to the company by looking at the Open Orphan website.
The Company has a leading portfolio of 8 viral challenge study models which are: 2 FLU, 2 RSV, 1 HRV,1 Asthma, 1 cough and 1 COPD viral challenge models. As announced in early March, Open Orphan is rapidly advancing a number of Coronavirus challenge study models and expects to be helping many COVID-19 vaccine development companies to test their vaccines. No other company in the world has such a portfolio, with only two competitors globally having 1 challenge study model each.
CF is expecting 12 COVID-19 vaccine development companies to require testing of their vaccines, potentially running 3 simultaneously.
There's so much potential in this company. Next news Monday hopefully.
It's incredible how many trades are being held back until after hours by the market makers. Investors are being led a merry dance trying to work out where the share price is going. Thank goodness I'm not trying to trade.
Thanks sogamla, I'll give it a go.
Did you re-watch the recent interview? If so, can you please post a link. Thanks.
That's what I thought Northseatiger, but I noticed sogamla posted earlier that he'd re-watched it. I'm sure it's the same one.
raharh, personally I agree with your second paragraph, but do you only think there will be £10 net per test to Open Orphan?

Feckin eejit.
VavVan, it says if you've had it. There is likely to be some immunity, but it's not yet known how long (maybe 3 years).
Indeed Tiptree.
Brilliant. Thanks Prythee.
People keep saying nothing really new was said by CF. As I posted earlier:
I'm sure he said big contract to be announced within a week?
I'm also sure he said it won't take long to fill the million tests a year?
The implication was around £150m for our share of Imutex.
Also, figures given online for pricing aren't far out - that must mean £120 to £150 per test.
Am I the only one with lugoles?

I'm surprised people are selling when CF is about to do what may well be a transformational interview. Oh well, maybe they know something I don't.
Jimzi and moniman, you are showing an unpleasant trait to your characters. There's no need for nastiness. If you don't agree with a fellow poster, please show some courtesy and put up an argument, rather than ridicule.
I can't see there'd be another placing Northseatiger. We've just had one that he could have got a lot more money from. He said he wanted £5m, could have got £25m but settled on £12m, if I understood him correctly.
I'd be more interested in the actual numbers re the antibody tests - price, contracts, volumes - put some meat on the bones.
