That's a bit like saying an unhealthy diet isn't an important issue as it won't kill you for a few years!

Well it was a test match of spot on predictions for me. At the end of the first day Mark Nicolas said England was in the driving seat. I was having a rant saying that it was a fundamental rule of test cricket, you can’t judge until BOTH teams have batted. Then day two, England skittles out for 67! I told you!
I was in the crowd Saturday when they appealed for a run out on Labusagne. My finger went up. The on field umpires went “upstairs” . I turned to my nephew and said, no need to go upstairs, that’s out. The decision from the third umpire ... OUT. I said to my nephew, “I’m the forth umpire”

At close of play day three we stood for photos with the sun going down on the western terrace. My nephew said how he had enjoyed the day and how glad he was that England had put up a fight even though they were going to lose. I said we aren’t going to lose, we have plenty of time and all we need to do is not lose wickets. If we lose only 1 or 2 per session we will win. You can’t bat for 2 days and NOT get the runs. A bit closer than I had thought but we did it. I text my nephew this Erving with simply “I told you” .

Great to have witnessed something special, I would say on a par with “Botham’s ashes” 1981.

True, it did capture the thoughts of many - mine included.
The reason I didn’t join in yesterday was I spent the day at the cricket. It was a glorious sunny day and as an England supporter couldn’t have been better - saw England bowlers take wickets, England batters score runs and overall put in a position where we could actually win it. Will be an interesting day.

Re the early date:
They possibly have some good news they want to get out as soon as they can but want it to coincide with the AGM so as to deflect some of the expected criticism.

This is a very important meeting for investors not to mention a legal requirement for any limited company.
I'm sure a number will be voting against some of the resolutions and a number will want to quiz the board on a number of misdemeanors.

C7, I wasn't expecting anything different, no surprises (that came yesterday!) which is why most peoples reaction was one of underwhelmed-ness.

However (and after a double expresso), it is good to see everything going on with Scancell summarised in one document, trials, the science and the financials. It is quite mind-blowing the number of things going on.

We have had several years of stagnation in terms of trials and data. You can't add to the (clinical) data pool if there are no trials going on. But as was stated yesterday "Scancell are back in the clinic". Data from the SCIB1 combo could come relatively soon. PLUS SCIB2 and MODI1 could soon be "in the clinic" and there could be pre-clinical news and data on MODI2, Glycans and TCR. News could come thick and fast from here.

Perhaps a single expresso next time!

Not at all. I made those purchases based on the information available at the time.
Those purchasing more recently did so with the dependency of the UK trial on FDA approval of TG2 being covered up.

There is a gulf between a "capital market" where investors are on a level playing field and fed accurate information and one where investors are kept in the dark or deliberately mislead. If it is the latter, then those investors do deserve a bit of empathy. The inability to feel empathy is a known symptom of certain conditions.

How can you say that? There are many who bought between 8-9.7p recently. Have you no empathy for anyone?

Is it a case of they had information not generally available to private investors...

They were a bit more thorough in their investigations and asked the right questions? Could we have worked this out had we been equally thorough in our research? Vulpes did spend a year doing due diligence.

Yes, we had been thinking there were potentially two separate problems 1) the FDA issue with TG2 and 2) why the UK trial hadn't started. Turns out, it was only one problem (1) and (2) has now been resolved.

Looking forward to the "first patient has been dosed" RNS in "the coming weeks".
