Yes, I know what you mean. I look in here and on ADVFN. There are a number here who hold ADVFN in distain but there are some valuable posters there who don’t post anywhere else, such as NXC the ex chairman of Scancell.
Unfortunately, boards such as these attract all sorts, some with personal agendas (rampers and derampers) although over time you get to recognise these. There are plenty of people who genuinely try to help without any ulterior motive who also have relevant knowledge and experience, for example Bermuda, ivy, crumbs, wild force and Ray. C7 makes a valuable contribution due to his personal experience of this dreadful disease.

Just to correct your erroneous assumption:
I didn’t HAVE to sell shares in fact I funded open market buys at 6.2 to 6.79 as I felt the fund raise would lead to a steady rise and expected the application for extras would be scaled back.
However, I thought that selling enough at 7p so I could by back at 5.5p an astute move. I ended up with a bigger shareholding for no extra cost. I win, Scancell wins so everyone’s happy.

Like Chester said earlier, things are more positive than they have been for many years so why the snipes?

One word of caution, there is nothing stopping anyone declaring their buys but keeping their sells quite. Don’t tell that’s never been done.

Yes.

Drugs aren’t like cars where there is a market for cheap ones up to luxury. With drugs, the most effective with the best safety profile will win. I agree that Scancell need to get their offering trialled, approved and to market asap, but quality must not be compromised.

Try not to portray half the story, I said 6.2 and 6.79. 6.2 is “around the 6p level”
Otherwise, I take your point. Any purchase below 13.3p will bring my average down and I fully expect we will get to that level in the next 12 months with reasonable news and possibly higher with really good news.

I didn’t say under 6p, I said “around the 6p level”. I bought at 6.2p and 6.79 AFTER the OO offer was published (in case I didn’t get my full allocation of extras).
If you believe the TD value of 13.3 then both 5.5p and 7p are “cheap”

Mind you, in fairness, someone said it when we 33p and they were right - I haven’t been able to buy at 33p for years.
