I should say it was 'expected' to be 1st June. But that's one hell of a delay if it's not yet gone through, which would suggest to me Humber's first batch will already have been received and sold. Not that it really matters I suppose. West Newton is far bigger than anything Humber selling shares can affect.

Thanks Jack. Would we still be notified after O&G approval even though the admission date was 1st June? It seems a long time ago to me. Perhaps a delay because of covid-19? If Humber have been delayed in receiving their allocation because the OGA weren't able to authorize the share issue they must be spitting feathers!

If I understand correctly, Humber were allowed to sell around 117m shares from 1st June, and a further 233m after 1st September. Although I have held RBD shares for many months, I haven't been watching to see if Humber have been unloading their first parcel available to sell. They would have had 5.2% if my sums are right - they wouldn't need to TR-1 because the RNS of 26th May would cover that notification, but there have been no TR-1's since. This of course doesn't mean they haven't already sold enough to fall below 5 or even 4% as I know the AIM rules often don't get followed, but can anyone update me on any estimates to the amount they may have already sold? I believe I heard somewhere they needed the cash, so I assume they will sell as soon as they can, but do they have any of the first 117m available to sell left?

It's nice that 10m is out of the way. Looking good now, I feel a nice rise is on the way : )

I don't think those valuations include Cadeby Reef Tony. Over £800m with 26% COS I believe.

The only time I've come across it Tony, it was 50%.

I hope you don't mind me butting in GP. My personal view is I don't rate Corallian at all. Keddington, Fiskerton and North Kelsey are minnows which could come to something with a great deal spent on them. Biscathorpe and Parta are both unknown's with great potential requiring further work but encountering problems. Wressle and California are both producers (or about to be) of similar size, so for me it all comes down to comparing West Newton.

You're right O2B. Another way of looking at it - I find it extraordinary that UJO have a market cap of £32m, and RBD £40m, when you consider Shard Capital assessed 80% of UJO's value to come from West Newton (as you point out 16.6%), and RBD have 56%. That means the market currently values UJO's 16.6% to be worth £25m. It should therefore follow that RBD's 56% is worth £84m. Some rebalancing seems likely before too long in my opinion.

Thanks UB. Gold and silver look to be gaining momentum from what I can see. Excuse my ignorance, but is zinc price likely to get dragged up with gold price, or is it more dependent upon a thriving economy? China's economy appears to be the least affected major economy worldwide by the coronavirus pandemic. The GFM website makes the lockdown look extremely serious to the company, and yet China seems to coming through it quite fast from my understanding. Also Chinese pharma companies seem to be at the forefront of vaccine and antiviral development. I can't help thinking that Chinese companies will get extra state assistance in the near term, but do you think GFM will be considered 'Chinese', or is it a 'foreign' company on China's soil?
I would appreciate your, or anybody else's, views.

Off topic - for what it's worth, I was a GFM shareholder for 15 years, but didn't know. My mum bought a few shares in the late 90's and passed away shortly afterwards. Her share certificate came to light in 2015, and the shares sold shortly afterwards around 29p. Very annoyed she missed out on the rise in share price early in 2000 when it rose to 140p - it would have been very useful for her had she had the opportunity to cash in. I've had a soft spot for the company just because something inspired her to invest her hard earned savings in it, but the company seems a bit unusual - maybe why she was drawn to it.
Anyway, I'll hang around for a while and see what happens. My uneducated guess is that this will go back over 80p before too long, but I am at the bottom of a steep learning curve here.
