You're right, there are a few options Harry. I am certainly no expert on this type of thing, but I think the advantage of an RTO in this situation combines the existing unfunded assets in the AIM company, with the energy of the private company and their potentially massive asset, and opens the whole thing up to a new pot of investors. A very simplistic view I know. But I've heard a lot recently about RTOs being seen more as the way forward.
Personally I don't like the idea of a farmout - the big boys always seem to rip off the little ones who took all the risk.

Mike, I still prefer that Rathlin reverse into an existing AIM listed company - Europa or Egdon ideally, rather than IPO. Egdon in particular, I believe are sitting on some valuable assets. They just need lots more cash than Wressle can provide - enter stage left, Rathlin and a successful West Newton. I like Mark Abbot, but something has hamstrung Egdon's progress over the last few years (I know it's not been easy of course with the oil price crash, opposition to fracking, pandemic etc.), but I also like the energy that Rathlin can generate, and they like to drive projects forward. All my own opinion of course.

Wilson, the latest what I would consider as a 'well informed' view that I've heard, seems to be a sale after the EWTs, and there will be news on them or they start this month. I tend to value RBD shares at over 2.5p if the EWTs are successful. Mike could well be right with a higher valuation though. As a guide a £1bn valuation will give a sale price of £500m in my opinion, for what it's worth.

The exercise price is 1.23p - double that is what the share price would have to be (2.46p), and it's currently around 1.3p, so your nasty little insinuation is pretty pointless and out of date.

Valid point about the clowns, deemule. Long investors who post, often naively overlook the fact that many other posters on here actively want the share price to drop. There's so much that can't be believed, sadly.
