Wilson, I believe the WNB-1Z EWT is scheduled for March/April, and the WNA-2 EWT is scheduled for April/May, with results provided in a CPR in May/June.

Either Ireland will want the security of home-produced gas, or they won't. Seeing how quickly the EU recently seemed to dump Ireland's best interests regarding the border and the vaccine shambles, I'd suggest they will want to establish that security sooner rather than later.

I thought BEFORE the WNB-1 or WNB-1Z drills, that the whole licence could have a sale value of £300m. I think after the EWTs, CPR and WNB-2 drill and test, we could be looking at double that, so £600m.

I agree NVG. New buyers into West Newton will need very deep pockets - far beyond what Europa could manage, that's for sure. Biscathorpe or perhaps North Kelsey are more in their field.

Personally, I think Europa will be looking to Egdon to do a deal with, not Reabold - perhaps take a piece of Biscathorpe?

The sums don't add up. There's no way RBD would relinquish 17% of West Newton for EOG shares. 17% of West Newton would be worth many multiples of Europa's total value, unless there is due to be a big announcement by the Irish government regarding domestic gas production, and a major is about to farm in to Inishkea.
As a Europa shareholder, with what for me is quite a few shares, I would love it, but it just doesn't add up.

Indeed, I WAS up to my eyes in RBD shares last August, having bought, considering my constrained budget, significant quantities in March. Indeed Doorstop. In part, that was the point I was making. Shareholders don't care if the market cap goes up, when at the same time the share price is going down. It's a question of which is most important to the company - market cap or share price.
