Surely every oil and gas company is reliant on approvals from government bodies? I'm sure if it was left to our BOD, transfer of the Edge licence and the environmental survey of Inishkea would already be approved.
We've only just got permission from the OGA for the proppant squeeze at Wressle, and that is being progressed without delay.

Due diligence is ongoing to secure a North Sea interest.
'The new horizontal well should give better flows but does doing this suggest that the existing wells won't be commercial and only a new one will?'
Of course not. They want to get the best price possible when they sell, so they'll present the best flow possible.

My understanding is they won't start extracting from the Peni$tone Flags until they have exhausted the Ashover Grit. That could be years off. They can't extract more than 500bopd anyway, because of planning restrictions.
It was apparent that oil flowed during the abandoned WNA-2 EWT, as the gas flare smoked, but maybe they were able to record the flow? If BMD is right, imagine what WNB-1Z will achieve.
#WestNewton gas drill actually flowed circa 1,000bopd & wasn't reported due to a legal licence/nomad fear of protestor action i.e Set up as a gas drill.....
Thanks for posting that GP. Good to see Mark Abbott. Personally, I found it very interesting.
