We can be assured that there will be a 2nd bid (Telegraph dont produce articles like that without good reason) but as you say maybe it will be low and subsequently rejected

Brokers Market Makers make their turn on the trade whether its a buy or a sell

Again a total internet myth that somehow these last 25 years has become an internet "fact" instead

When buys exceed sells the bid price is raised by brokers to attract stock and vice versa

Its not changed in 200 years

Reading behind a paywall last night on a pro forum and the very vast majority were adamant that a much bigger offer was in the pipeline with consensus around 385p

I originally had 2422 shares at 202p average

I've took £2000 off the top and will let the rest run

Think if it subsequently does go to 350p will consider liquidating the lot as if a bid fails we could well be back to 250p or lower
