You would think the 5 mil block buyer would move things up even just a little bit. However I will be waiting for the final sale with hopefully a dividend payout. GLA

TradingLad I don't see that as a concern. The Reabold model is to prove up assets and monetise. The £16m should be more than enough to follow through. And never to forget the £16m was invested into Rathlin for a bigger stake - Reabold aren't directly funding this.

BarkingCrazy my valuation was taking 39% into consideration. Sure the SP might not get there but it could be justified up to that point from this one well alone.

So that equates to around 12p SP from monetisation - based on the 1 well without Cadeby valuation. And just West Newton. Seems like this has some legs.

It equates to over 70,000,000 - 100,000,000 boe to Reabold. Based on 60 dollars a barrel that is from 4.2 billion - 6 billion dollars before expenses - just on Reabolds stake. So if this is correct and gets priced into the SP then I am sure you could pay your mortgage a few times over! Let's wait for the official RNS before we plan our fortunes.

Sure, smaller stake but less dilution. Or bigger stake and more dilution. Both have their pros and cons short/long term. Not sure it matters much at this point.

That is a strong floor for the SP at 0.9p - considering the amount of shares now bought at that level by Institutional Investors - they won't be buying that volume for a measly 10/15% rise either. Once funds are released it will open up the potential of West Newton - monetise the asset and get some decent returns to us shareholders. In for an exciting few months IMO.

Not sure they actually sold a bean? Is the percentage not reflecting their recent dilution from the placing? Pretty sure they have the exact same number of shares that they had before.

I was sure MITON were almost out. Was waiting on a TR-1 to confirm but they have been selling for weeks.

By the volume yesterday and today wouldn't be surprised to see a TR-1 kicking about one way or another.

Actually can buy at 0.914p - I took some earlier and that showed as a sell so looking through the trades today there could be a vast amount being bought all under the radar. Very misleading.

Everyone crying about no CPR yet - the latest West Newton RNS clearly states this is to follow the EWT.
"The Operator and partners currently intend to commission a revised CPR following completion of the EWT, to re-assess the volumes of hydrocarbons and economics of the West Newton project, which will incorporate the information gathered since drilling the West Newton A-2 well."

Unless you are meaning Danube are doing a placing - that could be right for their Austrian exploration. The Romanian Wells are all funded though.

For what well? They have invested in Danube they don't need to fund the well testing. Their increased holding in Danube was based on success of the drill and that investment will give Danube money to do the well test. So I guess they have already 'funded' this. They did the same thing with Rathlin, increased holdings to fund the next step. Also they have money in the bank as seen in the Interim results just last week. So not sure what a placing would be for?

The day they monetise an asset such as West Newton or Parta. That will be the day the SP rockets. When the sale price of an asset is multiples of the Market Cap that is when everyone and their dog will pile in here.
Until then though a nice steady rise on good news will do me fine.

Fingers crossed we get a stream of good news over the next few weeks. Between Cali, Parta and West Newton we shouldn't be waiting too long for an update of some sort.

If you can sell at mid price that is good news. If they were buys at mid price well then someone just bought 12m. Either way the sp hasn't moved so not sure what the paranoi is about unless this is the first share you have ever bought. A sale of West Newton would be in line with Reabolds strategy to prove and then monetise the asset - so not sure if you thought that was a negative somehow? However I wouldn't have thought they would sell now before testing and realising the full potential of what they are sitting on.

Actually UJO is not yet at previous high - 0.28 was the previous high on the West Newton news. This will make it a hard resistance line to cross as it got sold off almost instantly and settled around 0.22. Anyway wrong board for UJO chat - off topic.
