Big sell off coming now heading into the weekend I think. Dropped 3 points in minutes so we shall wait and see how the last hour plays out.

Can we see this going today. Maybe profit taking at 2:30pm?

Stuck between 147 and 149. Any lower than 147 could see a sell off. Otherwise next stop 152

Yes this was very annoying. But it’s easy for them to say that when US isn’t open. There will be so much volume when restrictions are lifted which will cause a boom. That may be people’s chance to get out then.

I wonder what another rights issue would look like. Last time it was 3 for 2. Now to ask for more money surely they would need to offer something better?

At least we can be safe in the knowledge that this can jump 20/30% in a day as it has done previously.

There was a rights issue, which I don’t believe there will be.

Would anybody know what would happen on a spreadbet ‘short’ position.
A long position would entitle you to the rights issue but I’ve never shorted a stock that’s turned into a rights issue?

JG- wish I had your optimism. I’m in at 220 so currently nursing a hefty loss. After today’s news I’ve even considered opening up a short position to help if a rights issue does get offered.

My average is 220. Now I’m too scared to actually buy into it again. Been hurt by travel stocks badly. Agree, I believe it’s been oversold but it doesn’t seem to be letting up. Think it’s consolidating at the current levels until… bam… another 3/4/5 percent drop. Depressing!

I’m thinking of opening a short position so my current holding stays the same ready for the rights issue.

I really thought that 150 would be bottom for IAG. The brokers updates have been priced in already I believe.
So we’ve seen as low as 145. One broker update gave me a target of 103 which was worrying.

Anyway, let’s see what 2:30pm has to offer today.

I took up a second position in iag today as I saw the gap had been filled at 150. The last gap left to be filled is way down at 100. Some gaps never get filled so hoping this could be bottom for IAG now. Or at least for now, a short term spike to 180 is possible based purely on traffic light review system as we know how quickly this can jump and 180 was a solid area for IAG.

All ifs and buts but It would be nice!

I’ve just bought in as well. However there is another gap at the 100 range which will probably never get filled. I thought we would have recovered slightly better today but no such thing. Rolls doing better than expected today though. :)

It’s up 51% for the investors that traded at that level. It’s still down though.

Na I would never short this. Although day trading this could have been an option but I don’t have time for it.

A new month is dawning so new investors looking to spend their money. They will see this as a bargain and will happily hold in anticipation ready for the next rns. We may see steady rises this month because although first drill didn’t go to plan. Each drill is built up on hype because if they do discover helium that is good to go, at this point investors would have missed there chance. AIM exploration stocks are built on the unknown and chance, what if.

Falky, no I’ve not really opened up a short position. The only thing you can do is open a short to open up Tuesday but if it gaps down then youl start from where it gaps down too. I just look at aftermarket price which settled at 118 I believe. Subject to change of course. Rycey open tomorrow so will give us an indication off the back of this weekends news.

I’ve opened a short position ready for Tuesdays dip. Need to hit 105p before we can progress on further. Based on latest news at 10pm this evening things aren’t looking great.
