Such low volume today too for obvious reasons

With the Santa rally not started yet historically due on the next trading day after Christmas and then into the second day of new year. Just wondering how many will be buying in today regardless. The elephant in the room being that Boxing Day more government measures may be announced.

I’d just like to add in CW’s defence. From 148 he has called everything pretty well. I only know this because I’m down on my recents profits at the point he said he was staying out.
Also very informative not just on RR but about the things that actually really do affect the whole market, US in particular and over the last couple of months with inflation and fed tapering, interest rate hikes etc.

Hmm do I or don’t I??? Argo blockchain has been a massive fail so was going to pile it into this. Knowing my luck will probably do the same

In other news, TUI killing it today. I ran out of money to get in on them at 205 but for anyone that did will be heavily rewarded.

Heading in the right direction, at least it gives us a bit of breathing space now should things take a bad turn. I reckon I will have to wait about 5 months to break even.

I invested £750 which I’m currently 70% down on. Was considering taking my current 17% loss on PayPal and moving it all over to here but I know it’s pretty risky. But would only need 30% ish to break even on both shares. Hmmm have some thinking to do tomorrow.

This wasn’t really how I planned this stock to go. Really thought £3.50 was possible in mid term at least.

Can’t watch it currently. I’m 70% down on this. Will be waiting a very long time to get my initial investment back I think.

My nephew (3) now has Covid, not known if it’s delta or omicron. Comes up with a rash in patches when he’s outside mostly then once inside for about 5 minutes it’s completely disappeared.

None of the family have caught (mum,dad and sister who is 7) even though being in very close proximity as you would expect. Our family hasn’t caught it and neither has our mum. It makes me wonder how effective the double vaxxed are without yet receiving the booster.

Also with symptoms so mild I can see most people having the virus without even knowing.

Let’s hope this news at least keeps the s.p from going down. Ftse struggling to find its feet. Heading for 2% down.

Yes, all about NHS but hopefully once they realise it’s mild and although we may have lots of cases there won’t be near as much hospitalisations as delta.
We still have high level of immunity remember.

I do believe the public know better, the amount of people that know of people or who have close friends relatives who could be vulnerable do tend to think twice now.

We do also have the firebreak, kids at home chilling out on the PlayStation Xbox etc. People will still go out clubbing etc but it’s more measured than it was before. Plus, over 18s will be more boosted as each day passes.

I’m not sure about you botbot but I do find it strange how we all of a sudden have a model human who’s fit and healthy, that also happens to be a recluse to contract the virus and die.

Botbot, all the points you’ve made were made public before end of business I think. May see more downward pressure but you’d like to think it’s starting to exhaust now.

What’s the likely hood of a rights issue? It’s near it’s all time low so very attractive to take a punt based on them raising one.

USA also have time to get ahead in boosters etc etc
