With market in general I’m seeing a sea of blue so far followed by rolls results which weee much better than expected. Titan said he wanted to restore investor confidence so let’s see in 45 mins if he has achieved it.

I w on need how much this deal is actually worth. They’re not disclosing figures but they will have to in their statement on 23rd surely?

This news was out before end of play today so it’s not going to affect the share price tomorrow I don’t think.

I’m sure many are nursing loses here or at worst break even. I’m deciding to hold for now but with intent to sell if it reaches around 60/70

So Powell as expected which has been much welcomed by the markets. Maybe this will give an uplift going in to tomorrow.
Gains are being seen in more tech stocks though.

It’s now very obvious his blunt but honest comments have really affected the share price. Are people now starting to bail out before earnings too. 10% down from recent highs with no bounce is worrying. Hopefully support found soon. Opportunity to top up for some but not for everyone.

What will be interesting is how the results are documented. Despite the numbers I wonder how the sentiment will be interpreted. Turbofan will be mindful of his working I’m sure but I don’t think he is going to rose tint anything. Transparency will be key in both the numbers and his future plans.

So it could work well to buy now just before the dilution. It’s been driven down so much anyway. I’d give it £100 punt lol

I’d say a 3% drop was a good result for RR based on previous news that has impacted the s.p. Over the last 2 years it’s been ultra sensitive. Investors know it’s a great recovery stock so I think it’s becoming more resilient to news that ‘could’ affect it.

After tufan’s speech I think a divi won’t be until 2024 now.

What’s everyone expecting tomorrow. I mean, investors must know its a recovery stock so would assume it should be a massive sell off. But we’ve been here before haven’t we.
Long term it’s what we want to hear.

Yes an interesting read. Lately the demand for rolls has outweighed the supply. It will be interesting to see how this news will be received tomorrow.

Just to note, I’ve been here a long time and can vouch fur red. Always been level headed and definitely no shorter. He bought back in at 140 like most of us did but doesn’t mean he needs to ramp it up. 60p has been seen since he bought in so hasn’t been wrong on that. Anyway, seems like a good guy to me from the old covid days lol

What would be the benefits buying in now with regard to buyback/consolidation/rights issue or is it better to wait for the announcement. Would I meet the criteria to be included or is it too late.

I chose not to sell at 70p which hind sight is a regret but we don’t always get to choose our exit points. I’m still happy to stay out on this and await the next 20days

For me I would have had 180p by year end but there’s no reason why not. Travel never had its ‘boom’ throughout the whole pandemic and ongoing war so it really is on a massive catch up. Travel just never had its hype. Amazing to think that on an announcement of opening up in the thick of covid we were seeing 140p and that was before 2bn of debt was cleared. Also Rolls debt repayment plan is very low.
We are all eager for what Ergin will announce in next statement. Definitely a welcomed addition anyway.
