Despite massive gains the last 2 days I’m pleased to see it consolidating around 140 at the minute. Even though it’s undervalued I would have assumed some 2-5% pullback at some point due to natural profit taking but doesn’t look like it today. Does feel like there is a case of fomo happening right now. If you watch the chart on the 1 minute the buys are bought up quicker than the sells .
Seeing as what happened to rolls yesterday this could be a last ditch attempt to cover their short or at least claw some back before closing. Every other airline that’s posted profits has gained, the market today has been ok in general too so I am a bit baffled to have not seen it in any form of blue today.

That’s a good spot croc. I might ring their office today and enquire if they’re looking to close their short position. This is the only thing that’s now keeping me here at the moment in terms of buy the rumour sell the news etc.
Yeh happy with Rolls last couple of days for obvious reasons. Just a matter of wether to remain in or get out before the end of the weekend. The massive short positions that look like they need to close is what’s keeping me interested right now. My physical shares as I’ve said on other posts I’m happy to remain where they are but leverage is another battle lol.
IAG…I understand they have debt and have spent 350m on air europe. They’re also not paying a divi this year but that’s a positive as they’re strengthening the balance sheet. I don’t understand either, hopefully it won’t last long though. Let me know your findings please.
Wish I’d not bothered now. What a sh*te day this has turned out to be. Regardless if it goes back up it’s not nice starting 6% down within 2 hours lol.
My dilemma exactly. Happy to let my physical shares ride out but my spreadbet leveraged is now looking much more healthy. I do need 170 but getting jittery.

Ok so now it’s really motoring. I’m starting to think of an exit position. Possibly before the end of play. Just to note, this is in my spread bet account rather than my physical shares.
Not sure it’s a justified drop right now though. Could be looking at 155 shortly at this rate on technicals. Not long term but you want a stock to rise on good earnings, no divi isn’t an issue as it’s committed to balancing books.
I’m just hoping for an early forced entry because I don’t want to be in at the top of the gap up. I’m actually hoping it doesn’t gap up, more healthy and mean I can get in lol
I don’t think it’s vulgar I mean it’s their own choice. My perspective is a lot of inexperienced people read these forums and are wowed by those figures when it’s not exactly as easy as it looks. They will fail to see that these people could have been X amount down for 2 years etc. Not enough sharing of the hardship and money lost is all I’m saying too. 1.5billion invested and lost by general public trading which all started from covid.
Guys! Been a great day yesterday but keep your feet grounded please. Don’t over expose yourself!!! We have people shouting figures of 10%+ rise again today which could well be possible but so could X% profit taking so again don’t over expose yourself.
Iag posted great earning this morning so that will be exciting.
Hey nettles, say hi to Johnny for me. I’m on the return and making hay while the suns shining. Still in red but at least it’s now bearable. Iag will be exciting today, have an order for that this morning.
Thanks all. Nice to see you all in profit but percentages maybe better. Sanchopanza, it depends what your exit strategy was. If you believed it would hit £2 then by all means re enter but I’d advise not re-enter with all money. Example say you have 10k maybe enter with 2k now then if it dips average it down and so on. Just think carefully because you wouldn’t want to be all in and back into immediate red and wait for X amount of time.

Any shorts closing positions tomorrow will be big so would expect a jump/rally in share price at some time. Plus baroninvester tweeting about Kintbury’s short at about 46million so it will be a case of short squeezing and calling bluff surely. Other brokers will be in heavy red but this has been documented on social media.
