Hoping for a good Friday. Ftse, Wall Street and crude oil currently up on the day so far.
Can’t see any bad news either so would be nice to get confirmation of the upward trend again.

Your very right, I’ve now set up stop losses at 106 to stop me looking and set alerts at 107 so if I am closed out then I can look to buy in should it fall further.
I’m hoping that 110 will remain strong though.

Interested to know, based on the spike and speculation of opening at 117/118.

Ig index is still showing closed at 110, does that mean I could still buy in a trade and get in at 110 ready for tomorrow. I’m guessing it wouldn’t fulfill my order?

Thanks for the helps guys, yes. I’m in for a fair bit myself (for me anyway) and was debating on where to set stop loses. We now know 100p is a solid. We all want to make a profit but I wouldn’t like to think I missed lost out on good profit.
I was trading pre rights issue price at 240p so have some heavy ground to make up.

Not sure about you guys but I keep adding on the dips. Maybe going a bit mad but you only get one a few chances for opportunities like this.

I’m more of a share dealer and happy to leave them but have spreadbet on RR as tied up less money.

I understand what you mean about the stress. I currently have around 20 trades going right now. It’s now deciding where to set stop loses. Especially with Rolls Royce, I’m happy to ride out any dips but it’s deciding where to set my stop loses as nobody wants to think they’ve lost out on any money they have right now.

I was under the impression that if you let the rights lapse then they go back into the open market. You Shapiro’s have been instructed to either; except the rights (meaning stay in the trade), sell you rights (taking the profit), or let your rights lapse meaning you lose them.

I may be completely wrong but this was what my 3 options were.

I’m hopeful RR can be within in touching distance off 110p and create a new higher mini resistance level with 100p being the major backup.

Looking for some advise so I can develop myself further.

What are they fundamentals when looking at the RNS. What are you guys looking out for, anything in particular?

Also, where do you guys look for up to date news, google doesn’t really give anything new. Are you subscribing to any news related sites or anything?

Promising start to the 11pm open. Ftse showing strength at the moment. Wall Street obviously up with trump gone, be surprised if it doesn’t hit all time high today.

Some valid points made by ‘neon’ here. If we look at the facts. We (UK) now know what it takes to sustain the virus which is temporary lockdown. We now know that this is as bad as it will get. What RR has done is future proofed themselves for a worst case scenario to last until 2021.

The company would have to go bust to make this a regrettable investment. The risk/reward ratio is very inviting, especially with new contracts agreed over the weekend.
