Looks like that’s it for the day now. Other than 1-1:30pm when America rolls in.

Friday was a very big day in terms of market reaction to bad news so at least we kind of know what to expect if a no deal was to be had. An initial 10-15% drop on day one would be realistic then would plateau after that. May be a retrace to 100 but I think that would be it.

I agree with you, I’m be no means a trader of any sorts. It’s a big interest for myself and I have a dabble on what I can afford. So yeh it’s gambling but I’d like to think it’s better odds than the old fruit machine.

I’ve learnt a lot on here since joining but I do realise you need ‘a lot’ of money to invest long term to make any substantial rewards.

Il be adding £25-£50 a point as it creeps up probably. Il be waiting at the door when the bell rings anyway to either lump on or not.
My problem was I didn’t set my stop loss low enough but hindsight is a wonderful thing. That’s the negatives with spread betting.

Took a gamble on Friday 16.29 and bought in. Only at £65 a point after abysmal day of pretty much gambling. Lost way more than I should have so here’s to hoping a retrieval this week.

Can you see an 11th hour turnaround, a bluff? Part of me keeps saying yes for some reason.

Short in RR, is that a heavy investment or on spread bet with stop loss? Tesla I agree is overvalued but then always surprises me when it keeps climbing. Il check out those companies you mentioned. My trouble is I don’t have all that much to invest so I’d rather go higher risk.
If I ever came into any inheritance I’d be splitting it between around 5 companies and leaving it long term.

When things are going well, you think they will continue. I tried to get to my target price which wasn’t that far away then pull out and put that money into 4/5 companies in physical stocks.

I’m still up but by not as much. It’s penny’s compared to what people are investing on here but all relative to each individual.

What I should have done was take out and left a tiny bit in to keep rolling instead of going too bullish. But then again if Thursday night there was a brexit turnaround it would be completely different.

What other companies are you invested in?

No problem mate. Well if I had enough capital to leave in an investment I 100% would.
But because I only had a very small amount I went higher risk. But greed took over and down went the profit i had accumulated. Il always be going long on RR. I just went a bit to hard or go home.

I’ve got about £1500 left in profit so il be treading carefully. Learnt another tough lesson this week. :)

I went along the lines of spread bet so il be back in soon enough. I got in at 4.29 on a buy but lowered my position. Let’s see if I can get back to where I was.
Another lesson learnt I suppose.

A lot of guys on here are investing in the 10s of thousands so they can stay long. Hence why I’ve gone higher risk. My fault, I was going to get out Tuesday afternoon and just left it. Never mind :)

Effin hope so mate. Watched my profit disappear today so bit down in the dumps haha. Il be good as new come Monday morning.

So, what would a no deal brexit look like for RR. The world still needs engines servicing and building. Renewable energy plants will still need building too.

So i can understand that the sp could shoot down Monday morning if bad news but moving forward after that is there a reason for them to continue falling?

Now talks of eu backing down and saying a deal would not undermine the sovereignty of the UK.

I still think this is 50/50. On brexit deal and rolls.

5 minute chart looks like it’s ready to drop. Seems to be strong resistance at 117/118. I’m fearing the worst and will probably cash out at 115 if it does.

So what are your thoughts regarding the RNS. I think they were honest in the struggle but also honest in their recovery. More positives to take from that than negatives. I think the negatives were ones that were already new about.

When I read comments like yours it puts me at ease. Your right, they do have a lot of positive news and I do also believe that brexit is priced in somewhat.
I’m still a bit edgy about tomorrow as I’m not a very long term.
On my watchlist on ig which is about 30 companies. Rolls Royce has been one of the top performers this week in terms off holding its own. Most others have continually lost day on day

Will be interesting to see what it opens up at tomorrow?

Would be good to listen in but markets would have already been in operation for an hour. The RNS should cover everything right?
