I think the view of Louis is too much the other way. I agree they are very keen to keep the lights on.
However, if they really don’t care about shareholders, then they could arguably just raise after they drill and in the event they hit a duster. They’ll still be able to raise the money but just at a very low price and diluting existing shareholders heavily. But the lights stay on in both circumstances. So I don’t think a complete disregard for shareholders actually furthers your argument of an imminent raise. They are essentially indifferent on that basis.
You also need to remember that they do have a lot of share options, so they still do want the share price as high as possible with as little dilution as possible.
The rampers and the derampers are all slightly too extreme here, in my view. Both polarised views which make strong comments which to any independent person, is littered with holes
