The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Mcadder we’ve seen plenty of confident significant holders on this board before you. Each of their scalps have been claimed by NUOG. I understand you will be defensive of your investment but haven’t you ever questioned why there’s not one single shred of evidence that we’ve ever moved beyond exploring opportunities, anywhere.
I’m invested in another share, JOG, who this week released its annual report where they clearly stated they’d been outbid on a number of deals and in one they got an agreement but it fell through due to a vendor tax issue. Yes it’s unfortunate and all shareholders would prefer a deal had been done but it’s reassuring that the BOD are open and transparent about what’s happened. This would never happen at NUOG and it’s both telling and disturbing.
I’m predicting another drop tomorrow - cheers Simon. Such a value adding asset to us PIs!
PCloud has already told us that Faoe confirmed they received a feasibility study from MFDEVCO for ketch & Schooner It isn’t being pursued and it’s about far away from advanced negotiations as you can get.
Hahaha @ QuestionTime
Who said it was a private event? You must have covered a lot of ground on this call with Simon.
Today’s tweets/“news” is nothing to get excited about. I question why there was no advance billing of this event to get the market interested which would have allowed investors to validate the content and/or even attend to hear what alison had to say for themselves in an presentation about something which we are purportedly leading the way in and on track for being first to market in the North Sea.
NUOG still strike me as being stuck in creative/development mode; constantly talking and getting involved in interesting concepts but without the credibility or capability to convince anyone to back them, all the time burning cash. I compare them to Jeremy Corbyn, an eternal protagonist and campaigner, great at arguing and getting involved in issues but ask him to make a decision or set out a coherent policy and he’s lost. Both are simply not up to the job and they know it. Ask yourself why not one director has put a penny into NUOG in years (notwithstanding Nigel Burton who obtained some on leaving).
In other news, I along with others who attended the AGM, found out what the TRANSFORMATIONAL NEWS was - Simon’s new barnet!
they sure did, DELSTER, and with the same arrogance and condescending tone (Seadog particularly). Where are they now?
mcadder, I agree with you that it's good to see them alongside Siemens, however, what's the context? In what capacity are MFDevCo there? Why wasn't this played up ahead of time to get publicity rather than after the event ? Is there a transcript or slide pack for this presentation?
I do hope a deal is closer than I think, however, I'd like more information from the company about its progress, more transparency and some evidence.
Not much to ask.
Well those tweets have just confirmed that nowhere near. More talking shops and aspirations. Yes it's great to see them in the same room as Siemens, but seriously just get something done already. It's beyond painful. A deal in May, June? Nope, definitely WHENEVER.
bizarre logic, it's an ever moving target.
Lol @ MerchantBanker. Some people have been waiting on news here for going on 10 years.
5 trading days until end of May. Great to see all the positive signals coming from the company on progress. Holidays booked for summer more like, Simon already on his. PIs hard at work trying to join imaginary dots. NUOG/MFDevCo masters of the NDA, able to negotiate across the world without a single digital trace. They should start a cyber security business as they might actually be good at that. What a total joke this company is.
Smokingjoe, you are coming across as incredibly naive here. Where’s the news? This SP will continue a slowly painful drift downwards in the absence of news post the latest money raid. Simon back from his hols yet?
I see we’ve had the return of Jordan Belfort to this board.
Personnel capable of delivery would be a start! Oh and a comms person who was ahead of the game rather than fielding calls from PIs
Simon back from his holidays yet? Might be an idea that they update us on progress and what they’re doing with all
the placing and OO money?
.22, has the penny dropped with some yet?
Odd is one way of describing it, SBP.
Still entitled to free speech as far as I am aware, timbo. Care to add anything further than it's just not what you want to read? Can you explain why MFDevCo are capable of pursuing so many projects but leaving absolutely no evidence of doing so, I mean like anywhere? Not even one digital fingerprint!
They don't even attend industry events which surely would be crucial to building their profile and credibility.
Joey, this is NUOG NO NEWS. You know that.
Don't worry though, significant holders are unconcerned by the sliding SP and happy to wait for "whenever" for news. In the meantime we can join the dots over industry updates about GTW with absolutely no evidence whatsoever that we're involved in it. TIGRE, on the other hand, are well connected and seem to be quite transparent about their activities and ambitions...
