Fair enough, Woolfson. Thanks for acknowledging and apologising for any offence you've caused.
If that’s the case, MajorMinor then there’s work to be done at pace to convince them otherwise and secure a deal, we must be in that territory now where decisions are to be made. Time for once for this company to be transparent not everything has NDA’s.
Dick, I agree with the sentiment of your posts (essay), however, there's no getting away from the fact that the appraisal was a monumental F up! I understand that Equinor are the licence operator and call the shots overy drilling etc, however, the JOG BOD have been far too complacent and comfortable these past 18 months. Due to this, I believe they held back on the opportunity to become a producer and that's far more likely than simply being outbid each time.
The overinflated belief that the appraisal was a done deal led them to take their eye off the ball, and it's clear there was very little to none "what if" risk management planning, that it unforgiveable in my opinion. You yourself have stated previously (before the appraisal disaster) that you were uncomfortable with what a binary play JOG had become. Whichever way you look at this debacle the polish has come off of the BOD, even Malcy is shuffling around looking at his shoes whenever he dares to mention the situation. Difficult questions need to be asked if they are up to the job and however much you malign others on here I agree that the BOD's next move is crucial in demonstrating whether they are truly committed to building a successful multi opportunity business or simply p***ing about spending shareholder money, chasing dreams and drawing nice salaries.
pCloud, defeat from the jaws of victory, with Chrysaor sowing up the rest of the fields yet again. Could this be why LT was relieved of his insider status earlier than he thought?
Enjoy the weather mate and a few beers (you've inspired me to open a bottle) - life's too short. Game on, Tuesday!
It’s very hard to tell what the game is with RICHARD Griffiths taking up so much of the company’s shares. There’s limited info out there on him, however, what there is doesn’t suggest that he’s the type of individual to flip a few cheap shares at the first opportunity. Something is afoot but I’m damned if I can work it out. Answers on a postcard please lol.
GB, the PRD one is Paul Griffith, deary me. You’ll work yourself into an early grave.
WW, I know which my money is on. Unfortunately, I don’t subscribe to the last minute deal scenario. Odds are much, much higher that we will painfully limp past the open offer date with no news. Remember that the company was forced into offering an OO, it wasn’t by design. I see no cheers for shareholders and cannot fathom why the BOD have allowed the situation to become so perilous other than through reckless neglect or to teach a lesson to large holders over who really calls the shots. #worryingtimes #litigation #fundedbymugs
Lol, indeed QT. Simons tweets as good as money in the bank.
Where do you get your optimism, Sharelock? Do you honestly believe they actually have something up their sleeve? How many times does this useless company have to demonstrate their ability to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory before people learn? #fundedbymugs
Story isn't over yet, that's true but time and again any hope that they are capable of material progress is shown to be a pipe dream. Let's see though.
Can only imagine the amount of people rushing to buy at .30 on this OO. How many bad chapters can this godforsaken company write!
Oh the joys of AIM, all those value investors lol
Certainly would be a good idea, keyhole. I rather suspect it’s has been previously suggested that it’s nothing more than collaboration agreements based on potential work i.e right of first refusal. The lack of any substantive progress or evidence of the companies actively working with us suggests it’s never got past the concept stage.
Hope is the only thing any of us can have, however, god knows though.
Appreciated Roger. Daily moaning guilty as charged ;)
LOOOL! That did crack me up, QT!
You can’t do right for doing wrong. I won’t say any more about it and to be honest it’s pretty irrelevant as I didn’t buy anymore, far too much intelligence for that. Those suggesting they are topping up now would be best to question what is making them do so because it certainly can’t be anything “official” the company is telling us.
Near yes. Gary’s observations on twitter also pertinent.
KR, I don’t think I need to add to what others have inferred. Hope that’s helpful.
