The share price running away with itself has been a double edged sword for Alistair and Avacta. It has brought attention, focus and of course investment to but also scrutiny.
When it passed 65p I started to get a bit jittery. The rest is history of course but if Alistair had a magic wand I’m sure he would wish it hadn’t climbed so high so quickly.
On a lighter note I love how everybody on this board has become a testing expert!

I’m not going to lie yes. The problem is that most people here (not everybody of course) are here to make a quick buck. Alistair on the other hand is securing his and his families future for when we are all long gone. I think Avacta is going to be MASSIVE in a couple of years time. Smoke and mirrors at the moment though I'm afraid to say. IMHO

Alistair is a very shrewd operator and that last placement of raising another £50 Million when he has clearly stated from previous placings that AVCT was “fully funded” was the writing in the wall. I remember 12 weeks ago hesitating at buying these shares for 22p. I took the risk because of a possible Covid test they were developing but felt reassured because if push come to shove they were valued at 65p with the cancer developments. Has everyone completely forgotten about that? Wow.

Again thanks for your honesty guys. The point I was trying to make is that it’s all about self belief. I would be lying if I said I didn’t mind what happened today but at no point did I consider selling. In fact I bought more and will again tomorrow if it dips.

I LOVE your honesty CarsCoffee you’ve never bragged about your holding it came out in genuine conversation and what people here should know that here is a guy who bought almost a £1Million pounds worth of AML shares at £9 and has watched them drop almost daily over the last 12 months or so but rather than panicking he kept buying on dips bringing his average down and ended up in profit.

Yes in theory but £2.85 (£19) is still based on the assumption that AML is valued at the original (over) estimate of £4.3 Billion in Sept 2018.
What they didn’t have back then though was a fully operational state of the art DBX factory and Lawrence Stroll so we shall see! IMHO

Gateshead. Buy houses at Auction (well used to) and kinda retired now but always have something on the go (gets me out of the house) This place is another self build. Takes a couple of years no hurry but also no capital gains! Where are you?

I’m a one man band serial self builder (houses) and the last 12 weeks have done Bugga all diddly squat zilch and the latest “venture” is like the Mary Celeste so I thought today ENOUGH told the Missus I’m going to work today and shut everything down. It’s managed to last as long as the drive and I am now nose pressed to my iPhone in the corner of a very damp cold dusty building. It’s not possible to switch off is it?
