MerchantBanker I really haven’t got an axe to grind with you or any of the guys here and I genuinely haven’t got an ulterior motive. I have actually got the utmost respect for you in particular and I am also well aware of what posts I have posted previously. Up until my “jog” I had previously bought ODX shares and was entitled to purchasing shares with the 1 in 20 rights issue. I then mistakenly sold all my AML shares and purchased just over 600,000 at at average of 38p. When you don’t lie you can’t get caught out a spades a spades in my book. I do genuinely again believe that Covid is with us forever BUT had a restless sleep and then a morning run and realised my error in judgement.
£45,000 paper loss but still considerably up thank goodness through my AVCT and AML but hey ho.
ODX. have missed the boat and even though IMO they will hopefully sell some tests it will never justify their current over valued share price.

Hi again Legin no my experience is based of course more than my morning “jog” that was just an example but I thought people would be able to see that. I got into AVCT in March at 22p and 9 bagged it but that’s a story for another day. The truth is that if you haven’t made money on the Stock Market by now then it’s too late. I think most people here are desperately trying to recoup losses.
No doubt “JAdam” and a couple of his chronies will now turn their attention to me but guys you just have to know when to call it a day. The days of making easy money are over.

Hi Legin I agree with Denn and think the sentiments has gone with Covid. It’s difficult having an opinion on these boards because unless you say something positive you get slated. The best way for everyone to get a balanced view of an investment is to listen to have adult conversations. The penny dropped for me during my morning run yesterday. If I encountered anybody a few weeks ago in the opposite direction one of us would cross the road. Same for daily walks with the wife. Now people are still respectful but no longer “frightened” Now you could say that’s being complacent and it will come back and bite you but I just think people are now starting to have a better handle on the situation. All these millions of tests that are eventually going to be produced at some point are going to be surplus just like all the ventilators that nobody wants or needs.

Years and years ago I believe MMs used to communicate to each other with certain numbers meets but not anymore. Sometimes to get a live price I enter 1 and then refresh when the timer expires and I have came close to accidentally submitting the order! So my guess is that.

Hiya smokinjoe because I only sold yesterday and like most people here are addicted to this share dealing malarkey. The last 5 months have been a blur and I have spent most of it with my face pushed hard against this iPhone. You will see if you look at my posting history that I am a genuine person. I am not trying “save the world” here. At the end of the day we are all adults. It was so easy to make money on any of these Covid stocks 5 months ago and I did really well with AVCT but it’s over.
Anyhow that’s my opinion and after all this is a discussion board. It’s for everyone to say what they think and talk about it in a grown up way. I feel quite brave even bringing it up!

The last couple of weeks I have been constantly trying to convince myself that this Company is going to make 100’s of £Million pounds Testing Covid but the truth is that hand on heart I genuinely no longer think this and was in denial.
The reason the share price tumbled yesterday was partly because of the (badly written) results RNS but also because I sold out all of my 600,000 holding.
I can assure you this is not a “deramp” insofar as I want the price to drop because I want back in. There is no chance of that. I took a big paper loss but I do think there are people here who are taking proper losses as in money earned and for what it is worth you should consider taking what you have left and running for the hills.
I know the usual rampers are going to slate this post but crack on because I won’t be getting a ***** fest. That’s my opinion and I could be wrong but all the Covid Companies that we’re worth pennies before this horrible Virus appeared are going back to be worth pennies very soon oh along with their £Millions that they conned out of shareholders for rights issues/dilution which will mysteriously disappear and end up in their own bank accounts.

Pandy2 thank you for that. Comedy Gold really made me laugh! I had to go and get a tissue. I mean this in a nice way because I can relate to it from 20 odd years ago in the dot com boom bust but also now in what will be known as the Covid boom bust.
All the small Covid Companies are it raising many millions on rights issues/share dilutions because they know the writings on the wall so want to get some money in the bank. I did think ODX was the best of a bad bunch but are rapidly losing faith. The typo in the RNS this morning is a joke.

Newboy I can tell you exactly what’s is happening.
That order was placed earlier this morning on a fill or kill and the MMs struggled to fill it. They only have 2 options. Raise or lower the share price. If they raise it yes PIs will sell their shares but for a higher price so the MM makes less money on the sale. If they lower the price people still sell but obviously for a lower price. The MM then makes money off the original person who bought it and is now making a loss and the new buyer.
It’s not actually a physical person who makes this decision it’s a program written by experts.
You can beat it by simply being aware that this is a game and being strong.
On the plus side the person who placed the order knows that there is going to be a Nationwide Anti body testing program going to be announced by the Government as soon as Colin gives the nod that ODX can handle the volumes.
That’s IMO anyway.

The fluctuations in the share price is completely out of the hands of the CEO and to call for his sacking is both embarrassing and immature. We the PIs are being “played” by the algorithms written by Lse. Let’s be honest the average long term holder on this board is a couple of months best. To succeed in this game you have to think outside of the box. Only 10% will do this and sadly the other 90% are cannon fodder. YOU have to remind yourself why you invested in ODX and be strong. It will all come good.

Even when there is a vaccine the demand for an antibody Test is still going to be massive.
Firstly the vaccine will be very expensive to the NHS so Doctors will have strict guidelines before administering.
They will have to check to see if you have recently
had the virus with an antibody test which is significantly cheaper.
The future is bright for ODX both before and after a vaccine is developed (if ever) and I think this time next year everyone here will be sitting pretty regardless of your entry £ price.
Something good is going to be announced on Wednesday for sure.

I am a believer of ODX and currently have a small holding but like to increase it before Wednesdays meeting but just need a little convincing!
How we do compare to our Competitors and do we have a Unique Selling Point (USP)?
Oh and those largish buys at the close of play on Friday make me think that somebody is in the know for this meeting.

Hi C26 well let me be the first (and most probably only!) person to thank you for putting the effort into calculating the figures above. I have stayed on several occasions in the past that I like discussion boards being exactly that and hate it when people get discouraged from giving their opinion.
From your figures best case for 2021 would be
£120 Million interest to service the debt? which is Aprox half the potential profit?
While we are here though I would love you to answer a couple of questionable if you don’t mind?
What’s your interest in AML?
What’s your background?
and finally why are you taking time out to produce all of the above because you clearly at least appear to be very knowledgeable.

Yeah I think we all got a bit carried away when the share price raced from 30p to 80 odd a few weeks ago I know I did. I started to look at Villas in Portugal lol.
Back to reality now though with a bump. At the moment I would just be happy if it stopped going down every day ffs.

I don’t agree with him but I think the reason is that I don’t want to because ehhm I’m heavily invested! and just want to hear good news. Not sure why he is here and why he asks these ‘awkward’ questions but as hard as it to say some of them are valid and need discussing. Has anybody got any idea how much interest we would pay on a £1Billion loan?
