I for one have been adding as the price has dropped, to the extent that I was wondering if my purchases had a negative effect on the share price. last purchase @6.95 today.
With GGP for the long term, for my Children, Grand Children and the Great Grand Children, put simply the Tribe
I confess, I do not understand this share.
What I do know is I have seriously reduced the average price of my holding by buying, and I know a lot of others PI's have as well, so happy that they keep driving the price down so I /we can buy more.
What I do understand there can be no take over with out PI's and we will not sell for peanuts.
We are fully funded to production, any funds raised will be for other projects, bring the chance of more success.
Other regulatory approvals to be secured for Newmont’s proposed acquisition of Newcrest include the Australia Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB), the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC). Newmont and Newcrest also continue engaging with the PNG Government and regulators about other approvals and clearances for the transaction.
Culpepper you ask "I have an interest in arrangements made years ago to process Havieron ore, and whether Newmont are required to do so at Telfer by virtue of buying the JV." when you buy a business with its legal agreement you cannot pick and choose you take all as is, you can then negotiate with other party if you are not happy.
SharketMare: you say things have slipped, but if you are selling something but know that if you improve it and hold one to it do the improvement it increase al lot in value, you would not say the sale date slipped.
It would have slipped if nothing was changing around it but that is not the case, miles of drilling since the first change of date.
The change of date and the low SP makes very little difference to me, I hold and top up, my average price slowly drops, and I believe my share will be worth more than I paid by a good amount.
Paper losses are just that paper losses, the value is in the final sale price.
Since I posted the RNS has been released and we now have the promise of a MRE in December quarter, i.e. between October and December, this could be before we get our listing on the ASX.
And I agree our BOD have a mush better handle on things than any poster here, definitely better that the disrupters
Very disappointed with the Newcrest release but..
For GGP to have a good entry to the ASX the prospectus must clearly indicate where the value exists in the company, so Greatland will have to show where the value is in Havieron, so IMO we will be producing a new MRE.
Bamps I agree completely that the patent would normal move straight over to the new combined company, unless the persons listed as the inventors have an interest that is in there contract wit Newcrest, I assume they are/were employees.
Thanks for the details of the technology in the patent.
My point is that the technology is owned and if anyone other that Newcrest/Newmont have the other 70% then that changes things. I assume in any house trading Shaun will make sure the owners of Havieron will have access to the technology.
Thanks for your contribution today Bamps.
You have raised the fact that the exploration of Havieron would use Newcrest Patent technology.
What are your thoughts if the asset was to change hands from Newcrest/Newmont?
Will the right to use the same technology be transferred with the asset?
Ben - We have waited a long time, I have been adding this years bought each time when the price could not go any lower.
So expected price to follow normal pattern when I added a few more today early.
And the price went up, so thinks could be changing.
We live in hope, and have to trust our BOD to bring home the GOLD and cpper.
