there are likely to be new locations

it is unlikely that seats will be available via LSE etc,

even Sheffield which is the largest meet location may well be fully booked from the register.

In order to be in line to secure a seat at these meets you do need to register.

Seats go to registered Investors before general Investors, meets are normally have less that 50 seats, the register is several 100's in size so you understand why I make these statements.

Registrations are also used to see where the demand is for meets.

Yes interesting times we have a company that bases it projects very conservative as show with the DFS.

We will get the development of Telfer again delivered in a conservative manner showing that these projects are economically viable even with a massive pull back in the process of gold. There is fo much to come without going to look for JVs. We are going to on the list of purchases for more funds, although Shaun did say going from thev ASX 200 to ASX100 is a two edged sword as some are only mandated to invest in one not both. So at that point this year we can expect turbulence.

From where we sit now I am sure we all have our crystal balls polished to see if we are going to make similar progress to the year just passed, mine did not last year forsee £5 now, with others stating how under valued we are against other Australian miners this year looks very bright. I struggle with carrying on at over 10% per month as I have posted 400p in the next year is under 4% compound putting it alltogether I do hope I'm being to conservative with 400p. If as the results drive price without the WDU I can see the first half of next year bring a similar % as 2025, this would give over £10 at the end of the finance year. I stress this is not a prediction it is as stated if the price continues to rise as it has over the last 12 months, it is the stuff that dreams are made of.

As is my way (not trying to influence in any way) that got me thinking, GGP has had a brilliant year (although some don't seem to have seen it that way) now I ask myself if we could do the same again next year IE add about 400p to the price.

The rate of growth in 2025 was somewhere near 11% per month compound up to December,( ai says 12.5% for the year.)

From ai we only need less that 4% this year to do the same, this would next year today give us an incredible price in the region of 800p to 850p

Just thinking out loud, no advise not a prediction, just a what-if

I see the comments about taking advice from the Internet and boards like this.

I personally think that this is a good thread in that it provides awareness of a situation I for one was not expecting.

Having said that all have a choice ignore it

Bellers: A really good post and the discussion on here has made me start to consider and now plan for IHT, as I know I'm going to die, and pay tax, two things that come with life, unfortunately.

Without GGP I did not need to consider IHT, as any liability of home plus assets would have been less than £1 million or there abouts.

Entry SD and he turns my GGP share in to GRL shares and in the process produces a cash cow, the shares are now at values I only dream about a year ago.

This is a very funny tax as it looks back 7 years into your finances to see what you did with your money, and at any age this can be a problem if you die suddenly, and plenty of people do, so just because you are in good health today don't assume you have exemption, if you do then the winners will be the tax man and the people who you would want anything left will be the losers.

The first stage I have taken just this week it to look back and see if there is anything that may attract IHT if one of us die suddenly, I have then documented in a spreadsheet any regular gifts, they are to our grandchildren, with dates etc, and IHT status, It also calculates any tax due if one of us died. (I would have to do this if my wife died, if I died without the preparation then I would be leaving chaos, most likely my son would deal with it and if anyone has had to do this type of task it is not easy)(I will post the spreadsheet on GGPchat at some time when it is ready)

My next move is to start the planning of how to protect any wealth I get via my holding in GGP, having never been in the position before, I asked for advise, first from ChatGPT.

The advice was to make sure you get experts and to look and engage with at least three firms of solicitors to find out which one you prefer to have as your solicitor, your have to explain your situation and see what each offer. I was amassed at the detail AI produced even giving a list of firms in my areas (15 to 20 miles) to consider.

This I will do in the New Year but I have posted this as only the chat on here made me consider the changing situation, thanks all for that.

GGP in Oz have very few PIs relative to the UK, that could not hold Town Hall meeting in OZ and don't, like in the UK

I have looked back as you said at my post of last week and I never mentioned anyone by name for good or bad, I am responsible for what I post not others.

This morning a respected poster yourself again fed one on the posters I think most people have in their bin, I may be very wrong but I think the board is better when there is no reference to the disrupters, I have over the years emptied my green bin, and thankfully only a few remain as posters.

Others have jumped on this with regard to Bamps, if you look though my posts I very very rarely refer to Bamps, I like a lot of others on here have a lot of time for Bamps, but I set up meets before I knew Bamps, meetings for GGP INVETORS.

I invest to increase the value and as part of my deliberations I did the calculations, i never expected the returns I am getting with GGP and now inheritance tax comes into play, in my case I do not want to handle gold, but i cannot see it as a method of reducing IHT compared with GGP in the short to medium term, as I go into my it's next year I do want to give to the family as a method of reducing IHT. And Spend spend spend but not like the pools winner. To travel more than we have done and we have traveled plenty, maybe the class of travel will be better for these old bones so just contine to enjoy life, which we have done.

I have never held Gold, so I now I am starting to look at the possibility.

So I look back to see the difference my calculation are based on £10000 a year ago (nearly) the figures may be for one year or year to date.

GGP using a price from the beginning of the year when in new money the Share price was 127.2p and last week closed at 425p so a rise of 312.74% increase. so £41274

If I had it all count to IHT as it is assumed to be in a tax wrapper, and the holder died at the end of the year so the state would want 40% of all the amount £16509

So summing it up £41274 less tax of £16509 = £24768, assuming no mitigation, against £17083 a profit of over £7000 to be distributed by the estate, the tax man has received his cut and taxation is a necessary evil in a modern society.

Have I missed something in the above example?

PJ: I use published data and adjust for the knowns, and then set the unknown parts all clearly in the spreadsheets.

So much to come, next 6 months, cannot see past due to the amount over the next 6 months, but as the fog clears on the next FY I think I will be saying so much to come next 6 months we went up by about 14% compound per month this year.

We are undervalued against our piers, so a lot to go, maybe top slice you monthly or quarterly rise, IMHO Shaun is going to make sure GGP over achieves again NSR if so from where we are we could be in the region of £8 in a years time, from this year it is not impossible at all.

on my weekly update on Table 5, give figures of margin A$9.78 to A$11.41 millions per week for the quarter for Gold prices @ A$6150 and A$6,758 with minimum production from guidance.

Working on A$10 million per week will add A$130 mill to the $A750 mill we had at the beginning of the quarter, so top side of A$880 million in bank with these figures based on the minimum production the above figure is likely to be very very conservative.

Goldroo, I think that most Meets this coming year will be fully booked by the investors on the lists I hold, so will not advertised.

Most meets this year were fully booked while after each has been announced locals have stopped lurking( and most do only lurk) and registered, that may not be an opportunity, so be it South Wales, Hampshire, Norfolk or Cumbria amongst others, if you may want to come along you do need to be registered.

We have took chances before that we would get the required attendance while I get locations suggested, ask yourself why should we bring a meet to near you is you cannot be bothered to show an interest?
