Have a bit more patience guys. The rerate to £4 may already have started or it may falter. So what? The real payoff is over the medium to long term. This is going to become a core investment in this space and you are in early. This is one for investors, not traders.

That is a very big if. And what you describe is just a plan. You don’t know if it’s PB’s plan. TXP is uninvestable until it becomes clear how the funding gap is going to be resolved. A dilutive placing still seems (a lot) more likely than not. Anyone betting on anything else is just speculating, which is a quick way to lose money on AIM, particularly when you are dealing with a company that, as sirmark so eloquently stated yesterday, is drowning in debt.

I totally get that, I just suspect the truth may be that SYN was lucky to have secured even this latest deal. The string of Cambay aspirations that Roland shared with investors over the years each in turn lost all value not long after they were driven out of the showroom. This could have ended a lot worse. Patience should see a significant uplift from here.

I would argue that it’s the disappearance of credible gold plays like Shanta and Centamin that will, in the event of a gold rush, drive PIs towards GGP. GGP would certainly be on the menu for institutions in that scenario - they are not going to touch the likes of Ariana and Kefi (you would think).
