knicol All the same, I think this morning has demonstrated that there is still a lot of impatient money in here - I had taken a toehold at 2.2p but have now knocked it on the head at 2p to await either a more attractive re-entry price or confirmation that LK is taking care of business. Have stopped thinking of this as a potential trade and upgraded it to a potential speculation (one step down from a potential investment) - just waiting for either the right price or the right news.

Garnhiem. I really wonder how much value what's left of the pre-LK BoD (or even NR) has to add. I think the scales have fallen from most LTH's eyes.

Valueit / Garnhiem. Not sure that cut and pasting various technical options is that informative until there is news from the company that we can analyse from the technical and (crucially) financial point of view. Let's wait and see what the plan is.

saltere I'm hoping that the first news (which we might have to wait patiently for) will be a proper clearout. If that happens and NR's involvement becomes increasingly limited, we will know that there has been a clean break with the past. Otherwise the inevitable internal debates about the merits of past decisions, as legacy management try to explain and/or excuse what has gone on in the past, will just pull focus from what needs to be done. I would imagine (indeed hope) that LK and his crew are becoming increasingly annoyed as they follow up on their initial due diligence and give the tyres a good kicking. That annoyance should translate into decisive action. If they are not annoyed, they are not looking hard enough (or are not the people that we hope they are).

Chesh I wouldn't take VSA or the rampers on here too seriously! I suspect LK was a bit embarrassed by some of the things that Andrew Monk said when he was introducing him!

rorker I think Peter is making a fair point about small things (15 at the moment) done better. Maybe LK won't turn out to be much better than NR but I like the bang for buck approach so let's give him a chance. The assets are what you make of them.

diggit1gold Exactly - doing stuff better may prove to be a non-dilutive way of maintaining and maybe even increasing production. If LK thinks he can get more bang for NR's Mayaro infill bucks doing something else - fair play to him. It will be interesting to see what NR has missed. Who knows if the shares are cheap right now but if LK is indeed signalling that he will leave no stone unturned to avoid dilution, he could be an LTH's best friend. NR had his fan club trained to excuse dilution and convince us that it goes with the territory. Now there's a new guy in town. His name's RoboKoot. I'd buy that for a dollar.

"Be patient, we're on it" in other words - a good message. NR tended to have shareholders dreaming about all sorts while very little real progress was being made. LK is not encouraging speculation but getting on with the job and working from the ground up (which is the most shareholder friendly approach). Bad news for traders but good news for LTHs, IMO.

S4LMO No, it was my colleague who played Junior and was CL's pal who was from Fife - I never played proper football there (or anywhere) - love the game but was only player manager because I was prepared to organise our office 5s and 11s! You can probably imagine what it was like having a guy who played Junior in your office team - he was a lot more robust than the rest of us (or any of the opposition)! Happy days.

LL208 Maybe RNSing the details of a few of those tweaks will help to relieve the tedium. Who knows? It's a wait and see game now, not so great for traders but surely LTHs have grounds for cautious optimism. Really don't think NR will figure significantly going forward, particularly if he wants to spend his time trying to defend past decisions. I thought that his exchange with LK over Spain was telling.

To recap, if this needs to be emphasised @LGOEnergyPlc, it begs the question - what exactly were the previous regime up to with our money?

S4LMO No, I think he will just be quietly sidelined. The office move will facilitate this.

LLL But there will likely be departures as well so we may end up back where we started, severance costs aside. Hopefully NR is on some form of zero hours contract rather than a retainer.
